We recently stayed at the Grand for a week and enjoyed the experience. Fortunately we paid an extra fee for a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. When they look out over the main road, I feel that a room on the other side would not have been our favorite. The room was tired, and if I'm honest, a little disappointing for a four-star rating. Nothing major was lacking in the room, it was clean and comfy, but it lacked the tiny extras, such as artwork on the walls etc. The hotel is well equipped with a pool, gym, jacuzzi, wellness area, etc., but I can't comment on these because we never used any of them. We stayed on a half-boars and have no issues with the food. Breakfast was buffet style with many options and the evening meal only disappointed once. It was a special evening and every course was fish, perfect if you love fish, but the quality was good and we had enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel, which makes a stay even more pleasant.

We stayed for a week because the location was ideal for exploring the area and walking, and we had a rental car. Vera at the front desk welcomed us, who was exceptional, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. The rebooted room with a balcony was upgraded to a superior room with a balcony overlooking the lake the balcony was the largest on the first floor. The staff was excellent, no matter who they were, nothing was too much trouble. They were always pleasant, pleasant, and helpful. The food was excellent local fare, with a big salad bar and hot dishes before starting your first course. The decor is in line with the original style of the hotel, giving it a vintage feel to it. The indoor swimming pool was nice to use. Plenty of space on the terraces but we sat on our balcony so didn't use them. Be aware that local bus timetables are cut in September.

We recently returned from a week's stay at this hotel. The hotel was fantastic. The building itself is very impressive and has a great view from the rooms and the terrace down over the lake. Our room was very spacious, with two single beds, essentially two single beds together, and a single bed in the corner, chairs, a desk, and plenty of closet space. The bathroom was spacious and had a good shower. The hotel's food was mostly excellent with only one meal that was poor. Dinner consisted of a large antipasto selection of cold and hot dishes, followed by two pasta dishes, and then a choice of main dishes, usually one meat and one fishbased vegetarian options, but we didn't try any of them so can't comment on them. There is a lovely bar and terrace where you can enjoy a drink before or after dinner, and the price of the bar and restaurant is very reasonable. The hotel has impressive amenities, with many indoor and outdoor lounge areas all overlooking the lake, a good-sized pool, a squash court with equipment, a gym, a spa, two tabletennis tables, and indoor archery for a small fee. The region was on the front line between Italy and Austria during the first world war, and there were numerous military forts in the area, with fort belevedere being the best preserved and

I want to let you know that this is our first time in this part of the lovely Italian alps, and we enjoyed it too. Especially the chef de cuisine, who I personally greeted and thanked. We had a wonderful time while my wife and I stayed here for a week. The helpful and kind employees were the single most important aspects of this hotel, and they were all excellent people. They are highly praised by the employees. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and sincerely hope that future guests will have the same enjoyment as we did here. I would heartily encourage anyone to stay here and hope they enjoy themselves as much as we did. This hotel will be wonderful. Thank you very much.

This year, I will undoubtedly make use of their kindness. We went skiing in the charming laverne with pals every year and chose the grand astorga hotel as our lodging option. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel gave us roomy accommodations to relax in after climbing the slopes before inviting me to spend the night in the space with a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The Grand Astorga hotel provided delicious meals that are frequently associated with regional cuisine. My travel companions will also strongly suggest this hotel.

Un buon hotel anche se un po' datato, letti comodi. Ottima posizione e stupenda vista sul lago ma un po' caro per ciò che offre. Colazione a buffet abbondante ma a mio avviso da migliorare.

Posizione favolosa, ottimi servizi, personale sempre gentile e disponibile. Ottima la colazione con prodotti tipici e dolci fatti in casa da leccarsi i baffi. Probabilmente alla struttura serve una leggera "svecchiata" per avvicinarlo agli standard moderni (soprattutto per quel che riguarda i bagni delle camere), pur mantenendo quell'aura da hotel di classe un po' retrò.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato gradevole: reception eccellente grazie alla gentilezza della signora Vera. Camera ottima come comfort e vista sul lago, ma purtroppo al nostro arrivo il bidet non scaricava l'acqua e la tenda della finestra era danneggiata. Entrambi sono stati comunque subito riparati. Colazione accettabile ma purtroppo la scelta dei piatti della cena mancava di cibi leggeri o per vegetariani.

A fine Giugno 2020 la località non è molto frequentata quindi intorno non c’è granché, ma l’hotel è bello, ampio e in bella posizione panoramica. Comodo anche il parcheggio

E' situato in una posizione strategica vicino e con vista sul lago. La zona relax è buona così come la colazione, la cucina e il servizio in generale, avrebbe però bisogno di essere un pò rinnovato. L'esperienza è stata comunque positiva.

L'hotel è in generale adeguato alle aspettative, ma ci sono alcune cose non ottimali da segnalare: - la piscina era affollatissima di bambini urlanti e quindi impraticabile da adulti senza prole a seguito. Problema facilmente risolvibile inserendo degli orari differenziati; - non c'era presenza di personale nella SPA, con molti utenti che non rispettavano le minime condizioni igieniche previste dal regolamento dell'hotel (es. uso del telo in sauna) - trovo assurdo dover pagare in un hotel a 4 stelle il telo x la SPA e ancora più assurdo dover pagare il caffè espresso a colazione (...non essendo questo incluso nella colazione).
