I thought Swiping is a very good place. Great location, quiet room, clean, good bed. I felt at home. Wifi was perfect. Location was great, Vatican a few steps away. Also the castle Angelo. Easy to move by bus or metro. Also felt safe, even though walking alone in the evening. I will be back. Regards to Gil.

The hotel is located close to the Peter's cathedral and Santangello Cathedral, there are only 2 or 4 stops by bus from Foro Romano. The atmosphere of this hotel was really pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast has a huge selection of croissants and sweets. There is good interior design. The service is also very nice.

Located near the vatican and the piazza Nana, this hotel has a beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. They have a private bathroom and fast wifi. If I could suggest an improvement, I would suggest replacing the old uncomfortable mattress with some fresh bread and filtered coffee. There are too many super marker items for such a gorgeous kitchen.

There are many good things to say about this hotel. The only drawback was that it was difficult to spot on the street and with luggage, it was a difficult walk from the metro to the metro. But when I finally found the building I was blown away from the minute I stepped into the lobby. It's not modern or fancy, in fact it was quite plain, but in its simplicity it was beautiful. Especially since I was amazed by the truly vintage old school elevator that awaited me. Note the elevator can only accommodate three people. I was also pleased to find it nicely decorated with vintage radio gramophone photos. Check-in was quickly settled and I was given instructions about house rules of sort it's also a residential building so there are some rules regarding noise in the lobby etc. A basic breakfast is provided each morning and amenities like the washing machine which is a saving machine for long trips and stove were available for use and soappanspots were all available. The room was beautiful and very well kept! Also, the hotel is nicely located within walking distance of the main square good shopping and the vatican, as well as the tour bus stop. Conclusion Very good place to stay once you find the place.

On our journey in Italy, we stayed here twice. We stayed two nights at the beginning of the trip and two nights at the end. Although the proprietors were rarely on-site, they were easily accessible via phone. They offered some excellent suggestions for nearby dining options. Having access to a fridge and kitchen is a plus, but we were unable to take full advantage of it during our visits. It was a pleasant place to stay both times and we would gladly return. Our room featured a view of the Basilica San Pietro Dome and San Angelo Basilica. The only unusual aspect is that each room's bathroom is a little lower down the hallway. Each room has its own private lickable bathroom, but there is no running water inside. It is an unusual but functional remedy to the old days of having a shared bathroom down the hallway. They offer a fantastic shuttle service. Lorenzo took us up at the airport and later took us back there. Door to door service for 35 euros. That, in our view, beats almost every other means to get there for cost and ease. Buses and the metro would be less costly, but easy? Not so much, particularly with baggage.
