Our stay at Home47 was excellent. The room was full of character, featuring high ceilings and a charming sitting area. It was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished with a wardrobe, desk, television, refrigerator, and a well-appointed bathroom. Breakfast each morning offered a generous selection of delicious cakes, fresh fruit, bread, eggs, sausage, yogurt, coffee, and tea. The location is ideal for exploring the city's many attractions, including its medieval and Renaissance churches, pedestrian streets, and scenic waterfront. Numerous historic sites, excellent restaurants, shops, and cafés are all within easy walking distance. The owner was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring that we felt comfortable and well cared for from arrival to departure. Guests should be aware that there are stairs leading to the hotel; most visitors should have no difficulty navigating them. The owner is also happy to assist with luggage when needed. We highly recommend Home47 for its unique charm, spacious and comfortable accommodations, outstanding location, and exceptional hospitality.

We stayed there for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Our host, Carmen, was extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Each morning she prepared a lovely breakfast, including eggs made exactly to our liking and delicious cappuccinos. We especially enjoyed her homemade cakes and tarts, along with fresh, fruit. The accommodation was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with no issues at all. Carmen was also very helpful, kindly answering our questions about the town and offering useful local tips. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again.

Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car. It takes you down narrow, historical streets that are extremely difficult to navigate. I would happily stay here again, especially now knowing the parking situation. Carmen is wonderful.

At the very last minute we had to find accomodations for one night in Salerno. We were lucky enough to find Home 47 and the wonderful host. Gracious and welcoming. We were able to stash our bags for several hours after we had checked out. the best part however was the fantastic homemade breakfast! Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s located in the old part of town. Carmen was a wonderful host and made us delicious breakfast in the morning. It was very comfortable and a good location. We really enjoyed our walks on the boardwalk by the water. Highly recommend!

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Direkt vor der Tür gibt es ein sehr nettes kleines Ristorante. Strand und Stadtbummel liegen quasi vor der Haustür. Vom Bahnhof aus fahren im Minutentakt Busse bis fast vor das Haus. Carmen ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Sie macht prächtiges Frühstück und bäckt dafür jeden Tag einen anderen leckeren Kuchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had an incredible authentic and convenient stay! The breakfast was wonderful each morning, and we could really feel the love and care that Carmen puts into this B&B. We honestly loved exploring Salerno more than Amalfi and Positano, which we did on a day trip easily from the port that is just an 11 minute walk away. So many amazing restaurants nearby. It got loud Friday night because of live music playing outside, but Carmen prepared us for this with a note and complimentary ear plugs for sleeping. We fell right asleep after a full day. Highly recommend!
