All in all, a very good value for money. Really lovely, aristocratic mansion in a romantic garden. The location is outside the city walls but within walking distance of the citys center. Our room, which appears to have been the main central honeymoon room with a balcony in front, was huge and tastefully designed in a contemporary way with taste and style. The only downside was the upstairs bed was directly under the roof, making it quite hot at night, and it was in the middle of a record week with record temperatures outside. We spent only one night so could not use all the amenities and options. We also had to leave early in the morning, so we couldn t try the full breakfast, which looked very nice on the neighboring tables.

We recently stayed three nights in the King Suite. The hotel does not disappoint upon arrival, the villa is stunning set in large gardens with many seating areas. The location is excellent because it is within the city walls and about a 20-minute walk from the center. Checking was quick and efficient. Parking was private, secure, and free. The reception area is smart, but when we came to the hotel's lodging area, we were immediately struck by how tired the decor looked: White everywhere, including the floors, which sadly is not particularly useful for visitors carrying cases and appeared shabby. Our room was a large suite with a bedroom on the mezzanine level, it looked great at first, but the bathroom is in the living room, with the shower all clear glass so you are actually visible as in a gold fish bowl even sitting on the toilet! A small screen is provided to give some privacy but does not cover the entire glass area. It's awful, I can't imagine who designed it. We arrived just as the weather turned very hot, but the air conditioner wasn't working, the upstairs bedroom became extremely hot, and there were no proper windows to open, just a skylight without nets. However, after the first night, we asked for a fan, and they graciously provided one. Breakfast was pretty average, there was only cake and small fresh fruit. This hotel is great and

I totally agree with the previous comment about this property. It is in a wonderful setting, only a 20 minute walk from the city center. It is peaceful, beautiful, and a good place to stay. We borrowed the scooter, which was a great experience. The room was clean, but the shower area is in desperate need of a good bleach and redo! Breakfast was excellent and good. Typical Italian, and when asked for fresh orange juice.

The breakfast was adequate, but I think the fresh fruit could be improved. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful even though we had a room with a bedroom above it. And then, the friendliness from the hostess was very good.

The hotel is easy to get to by car. The parking area is small and muddy, with enough room for hotel guests, but is also vulnerable to being blocked when full. There are four keys to each door. The typical Italian breakfast was a bit stifled by the ants crawling over all the pastries. The coffee that was made in the morning from a capsule and fresh squeezed juice in the morning was a pleasant touch. Other than cash, the local tax was not to be paid for, as opposed to the other charge. Very spacious and cozy hotelrooms, but you can hear too much of your neighbors in the middle of the room, making it difficult to sleep when having neighbors watching for half the night. Being so close to the walls for walksrun and walking runs, which takes 15 to 20 minutes, are the best part, and walking to the center of town is via a lovely park and the lovely Palazzo dei Diagoni. I might think about it again, but I'm not completely sure. I believe that old couples should be best suited.
