The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, so many options. We loved the little courtyard area for eating. The location was excellent being so close to the train station. Would definitely stay again.

My family had a wonderful experience here. The location is ideal, 3 minute walk from the train, but accessible to all the wonderful spots in Venice. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and kind. The room we stayed in was very nice and spacious. The best hotel we’ve stayed in so far traveling through England, France, and Italy.

The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the train station, and you can reach the main sights either on foot or by hopping on the vaporetto. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of delicious options. Overall, it’s a charming Venetian hotel with a lovely atmosphere.

What a fabulous hotel. Very central and handy to station. The staff are what make this place - so joyful and friendly and attentive. They honestly couldn’t do enough for us - they made us feel so welcome. The included breakfast buffet was a vision to behold - our 11 year old has eyes on stalks when he saw it. We would definitely recommend and go back ourselves next time we visit Venice.

The staff at the Hotel Abbazia went above and beyond for us. (Shout out to Mirko, Matteo, and Raffaele!) We had an early flight out of Venezia and they saved us from paying 150 Euro for a water taxi; instead, they coordinated a porter for us so we could walk over the bridge and take the bus to the airport. We were going to miss breakfast, so they packed us generous to-go bags so we had something to eat. We really appreciated the kindness of the staff! The hotel itself is a little bit of dated elegance, but for me, that's what Venezia is. It's absolutely perfect for its location. Our room was very clean and nice with comfortable beds and a quality A/C (which was needed because it was HOT outside!). The bathroom is completely updated with a fantastic high-pressure shower (better than my one in the US, which is hard to find sometimes in Europe, in my experience). The wifi at times could be a little spotty but we were in the farthest room from the entrance, and the building is really solidly constructed. Overall, a great experience at a reasonable price, and in a good location. We were a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 2 minute walk from water taxis and water buses, and a 7 minute walk from the bus and car taxis.

This hotel is about 100 yards from the train station which is wonderful. This hotel was a monastery back in the days and is actually attached to one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been in. It has a very nice bar/lounge area and provides breakfast with an array of items to choose from. It was nice to have breakfast in the courtyard.

We had a wonderful stay! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and made getting around so easy. Overall, an amazing experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying at the wonderful hotel! First of all, it's conveniently located near to the station, and the employees were welcoming. The rooms are lovely, cozy, and spotless. They provide excellent customer service; in fact, one of their employees, Matteo, noticed that we were leaving early the following day even though we had already paid for breakfast. He assured us that our breakfast would be ready for us to eat before we boarded the train the following day. That's excellent customer service! Additionally, they brought our suitcase to the room and picked it up before we left! Without a doubt, I would strongly suggest this hotel! I would come back here!!!
