Wow, just wow. We couldn't have been happier with our stay here. The estate is gorgeous and the view looking down on the water from our room (and the breakfast area) is simply stunning. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and we honestly wished we had booked more than one night here. All around, it's probably the nicest hotel my wife and I have ever stayed in Italy, which is shocking for the reasonable price. We will come back here when we return to Taormina.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful on our stay, set us up with a ride to town on our first night as we were very tired from traveling and didn’t want to make the walk uphill in the heat, and they arranged a car to drive us to the airport on our last day, even letting us enjoy the patio for an hour after checkout. Top service, great experience, wonderful view.

Hotel excelente, com bela vista para o Etna, jardins bem cuidados. Café da manhã muito bom. Estacionamento um pouco apertado e valor de 25€. Fica a 1.3km do centro turístico de Taormina, uma subida andando! O quarto é bom com espreguiçadeiras na varanda em frente ao quarto. Fomos presenteados com uma garrafa de espumante por ser Silver no programa do Hotéis.com

A truly memorable stay at Hotel Bel Soggiorno. From the moment of arrival, the standout feature is the view - sweeping, uninterrupted panoramas across the sea with Mount Etna dominating the horizon. It’s the kind of scenery that doesn’t just sit in the background but becomes part of the whole experience of being there. The dining spaces are equally impressive: bright, elegant, and designed to make the most of the surroundings without feeling overly formal. Breakfast, in particular, is exceptional. There’s a genuine sense of care in both the selection and quality, and it easily sets the tone for the rest of the day. The location is also amazing. Positioned conveniently between the town centre and Isola Bella, it allows easy access in either direction - whether heading into the historic streets or down toward the coast. Overall, it’s a place where the setting does a lot of the heavy lifting, but the food, comfort, and atmosphere consistently match it.

The grounds and outdoor views are incredible, the staff from housekeeping to bellmen to manager were all very accommodating. The charming patio overlooking the ocean provided a sense of community as we all watched the sunset and ended up staying and sharing stories. Lovely place. Highly recommend.

The setting of this hotel is amazing! The view of the bay down below was breathtaking-taking! We could easily walk into the town of Taormina. The complimentary prosecco on the terrace was a delight! Would highly recommend!

This is one of the last original Taormina properties built in 1908. The views from this hotel are amazing - Mt. Etna and the sea! The onsite parking was a little challenging but the staff was helpful in getting our car in and outr for us. Our room was on the bottom floor - which was ok but just know there are 76 stairs to reach the reception office and building exit. The walk up to the town of Taormina is also filled with stairs and inclined surfaces but since we didn't have a gym to use in Italy, this was ok though I wouldn't want to do it every day. Breakfast was good and offered a lot of different things - bed and bathroom were both acceptable and comfortable. All in all a nice stay and I would stay there again.

Tout était parfait .Hôtel de grand charme et personneltout à fait charmant . Le parking est un peu difficile d'accès mais un voiturier charmant vous aide . La vue sur la baie et l'Etna est absolument époustouflante . Excellent petit déjeuner . Chambre de charme également .Une excellente adresse !

This hotel is like stepping back in time(in a good way).the rooms were spotless and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived at the room, and our room did not have the best view but just around the corner left you breathless. We paid for a less expensive room so can't complain. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the terrace was amazing and would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. They also left and wine, ice bucket and a bottle of fizz in our room , would highly recommend. Amazing.

The hotel is old but beautiful and our stay has been excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The daily brunch is absolutely fabulous. The views from the property are stunning. It is quiet and peaceful property and a few minutes walk to Taormina. Stay here !!!

Amazing hotel room with balcony facing the ocean! Etna was not viewable from the balcony like in the pictures, as those balconies were on the other side of the building. That said, the balcony we got was sunny and had an amazing view, so we were happy about it. Also very friendly staff. Parking was unproblematic (25 euro per day). The bathroom could have needed an upgrade, but we weren't too bothered by that. Nice breakfast with a great vibe. Overall great experience.

Can't recommend this place enough! The view of Mt. Etna and the buffet breakfast are major highlights. Parking is very limited if you are driving in - but staff are very helpful with this. Excellent location for visiting Corso Umberto or Isola Bella.
