Don't expect fancy chandeliers or goldplated cutlery. It's what the description says on the tin. Loud, beautiful rooms, decent and tasty food, however, the best part of this hotel is the staff. Ivo, Simon, luigi, and all the other staff were truly wonderful. Couldn't do enough for everyone in our group. Definitely coming back. Also, super close to the ski lifts.

This hotel has a ski room, and a ski bus is located at the hotel, which has a ski shop just across the street, 5, near us. The cleanliness of the rooms was good with the warm atmosphere and was nicely made every day. The breakfast and dinner menus were also varied, with local delicacies.

Every year, an international team of crazy Swedish skiers visits this hotel and the family herin, ivo luigi, sometimes several times a year, to experience the great hotel services, skiing in Matterhorn ski paradise and partly the genuine costa and valtournenche city with it's food, culture and still the tourist industry not ruined the environment. We always feel like a part of the herin family owner of the hotel where nothing is impossible in terms of service and create a family atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, including the owners, the brothers ivo and luigi, the receptionist, waitresses, and even the cleaning ladies. Nothing is too much trouble for herin. Local food and wines are local, fresh, tasty, and plentiful. There are always a few seconds when there is no hunger. Never hungry. I really didn't want to write about this hotel because it would be even more difficult to book the room. We already reserved for the next year! Like every year. The herin and staff - again from us - made our stay perfect again. Next time, kindly, Mary and Co.

This was our thirteenth group stay at this hotel, and we really appreciate it. The staff is friendly and willing to help you. All of the communal and bedroom areas are clean, clean, clean and the staff were attentive to mask wear, cleaning hands, and distancing so it felt very safe. Over the past few years, there has been a rolling program to update all the bedrooms. Our room had a comfortable bed, chairs, desk, etc. as well as a fantastic new powerful shower. Plentiful hot water and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast and dinner in the dining room for half board were great for the variety of items and such delicious, delicious food. There was plenty of chance to try other dishes too. Good boot and ski storage room and free shuttle bus up the cable car station, perfect for skiers and walkers alike. There are lots and lots of advice about things to do in the area, so something for everyone. I cannot recommend this hotel and staff enough, and we look forward to our next visit in 2023. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. They also served very nice food to satisfy the needs of a skier who was hungry. We were seven guests staying there the first week of March and we were all very happy. The food here is excellent and meets all the needs of a skier who is hungry. The price is worth it in terms of quality.
