Incredible location. Not far from the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain. Cavour metro stop is at the end of the road & Termini is about a 15 minute walk. I was nervous after some reviews & never should’ve been. Room couldn’t have been more perfect. Such a lovely little property & staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. On my next stop in Rome, thus is where I’ll be staying, without a doubt.

Perfect location. Felt very safe. Walked at night. Three or four blocks to the Colosseum. About three blocks to Termini. There’s a little market next-door and pizza and gelato all walking distance. You have to have a code just to get to the lobby. The only thing is there was not a chain lock on the door in the hotel room itself. Just a code. Overall, great experience. Would recommend.

Todo muy bien con el hotel el perdona muy amable y atendiendo en mi idioma siempre atentos y de buen trato. Este hotel está cerca de los lugares de interés como el coliseo y foro romano y la fuente de Trevi. Sin duda lo volvería a elegir. Gracias

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, they were incredibly clean and perfect for a city-style stay. The location is unbeatable — very close and walkable to major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The surrounding area is full of charming shops and restaurants, and it felt extremely safe and well-lit, even at night. Check-in was quick and easy. One thing to note: there’s a city tax of six euros per person, per night that must be paid in cash, so be sure to bring euros with you, as they don’t accept credit cards for this. Overall, it was a fantastic stay — clean, secure, and in an amazing location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

I love the location, the genuinely friendly staff, the cleanliness and proximity to Termini, metro, bus route and easy walking distance to the Colosseum. Plenty of dining options nearby. Will definitely stay at Hotel Canova again.

Location: Really good, can’t fault the location being 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum and from there it’s walkable to the centre. The main station for metro was around 10 minutes walk and easy to navigate. It was not even a minute walk to the street with lots to eat, drink and shop. Super nice area to stay in if you don’t want to be too crowded and was very chill. Room: The one we had was small which was no issue as it was just us 2 and has everything you need. There is a key pad entry to the building and room (need to just tap a few times to wake the key pad, the staff kindly told me as I thought it was not working). Room was cleaned everyday and had no issues there at all. Rooftop was not open food wise as it looked like there would be a place to eat but it was open to sit and chill up there which was really nice to see the city from above. Staff: No faults here, super welcoming, friendly, and helpful they would answer any questions you have. Would consider staying here again :)

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo a diversas atrações e com boas instalações. A equipe da recepção é extremamente simpática e atenciosa. O quarto é espaçoso e confortável, proporcionando uma estadia agradável. Além disso, o hotel fica perto da estação de trem e de pontos turísticos como a Fontana di Trevi. Há vários restaurantes e bares nas proximidades, permitindo explorar a cidade a pé com facilidade.

this was a wonderfully quiet and relaxing space to come back to after a day exploring the busy streets of roma. centrally located and easily walkable places to eat, visit, shop nearby. staff were very kind and helpful and made us feel right at home! would stay again!
