Hotel Castello suited me so well as a single traveler. The staff were the best part for me - so nice and accommodating. My poor Italian was not a problem when I had questions for the front desk staff. They helped me to book a boat trip to La Maddalena islands. I had a room facing the road. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels as needed. Breakfast was plentiful. Golfo Aranci town and marina is a short drive away or a 15 minute easy walk. The beach behind the hotel has very soft sand. Beautiful sunsets. I found the price to be great value for Sardinia.

Staff was amazing! Arranged transport for us and helped us with everything we needed at the hotel like restaurant recommendations and just general questions about Sardinia. When we ordered drinks and food, they arrived promptly either to our room or the beach! Big beach and great views will visit again

This was my second stay at Hotel Castello. I originally chose this location because of its proximity to the beach and shallow bay. I returned for the friendly staff, who remembered me even after 3 years had passed! This hotel provides all of the basics for a pleasant stay. The staff helped me organize a trip to Tavolara island with a local boat captain. It was an experience to remember. A special thanks to owner Gina, who will help you with any of your needs! Excellent accueil par toute l'équipe de l'hôtel qui cherche à faire passeur très agréable moment à ces hôtes. Vue du 3ème étage à couper le souffle, digne d'un 5 étoiles. Excellent emplacement avec plage magnifique au pied de l'hôtel et service de plage possible, très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux et correct. Consommation bon marché. Seule amélioration : isolation phonique des chambres si voisins bruyants. A recommander. Merci Gina et son équipe !

We were welcomed in a super friendly way. This was our first time in Sardinia and we had plenty of questions. The lady at the reception was very kind and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. Transports, trips, sun beds etc. She always tried to find the best solution for us, e.g. she negotiated with the transfer company to keep our luggage when we enjoyed the boat trip after check-out on the last day. The hotel is simply and useful equipped, we did not miss anything. They do cleaning service everyday. In front of the hotel, there's a beach. You can enter it for free or you can rent comfortable sun beds. This beach and all beaches in Golfo Aranci are amazing. The hotel serves breakfast with salty and sweet ones and they are ready to prepare snacks during days (or you can buy and take them for a trip). Walk to the city centre takes around 15 minutes and on this way, you can choose one of many restaurants to eat delicious food. We definitely recommend staying in the hotel Castello!

Easy beach access. Good parking. Helpful friendly staff. All the room lacked was a kettle for that evening drink. Access to the shower was a bit narrow but a good shower in itself.
