The hotel is in an amazing location central to the san Marco square and basilica. Booked a canal view room which was great to watch the gondolas. Staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The surrounding area is a little noisy, because you are so close to San Marco, which is a very busy area. However, you are also at an optimal location to get to and from Rialto, San Marco, Castello, and Canneregio neighborhoods very quickly. If you are arriving via San Marco vaporetto stop, you only have to cross one bridge with luggage, which is a huge help. The staff I interacted with were all very kind, professional and helpful. The breakfast is lovely and perfectly filling. I would highly recommend returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was literally steps away from St Mark's Square and centrally located to many of the tourist sites we wanted to visit and our room had a wonderful view overlooking the canal. The staff was very friendly and always available to answer any questions. The breakfast was plentiful with many delicious options. We would definitely stay here again

The location of Hotel Cavalletto is excellent! It is an older hotel, but the condition is good. The staff is so helpful! The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Breakfast was good, nice selection. Staff are polite, courteous and friendly. English speaking as well. You can book a gondola ride right at the hotel. No waiting. The hotel is central in Venice. A few feet away from San Marco square and the waters edge for boat taxis or the water bus to and from the airport.

If we ever go back to Venice, this is where we will stay again. The entrance is just 100 feet from the Piazza San Marco, yet on a quiet, narrow walking street. Right outside our window there were about 16 Gondolas moored with a lot of fun activity to watch during the day -- if we were to just sit by our window or sit in one of the hotel bar's balconies downstairs, sipping a glass of wine. We were greeted in our room upon check-in with a bottle of cooled Champagne. I don't know if all guests get this or it was because of the higher priced room overlooking the canal and Gondolas, but it was unexpected and very nice! The staff were wonderful and the breakfast offers both traditional European continental fare (our preference when traveling in Europe) as well as fresh-cooked scrambled eggs, bacon and other fare that Americans are used to seeing in the U.S. From the hotel, most anything you would want to see, eat, drink or shop for is within an easy walk. Very highly recommended!!

The room and everything in it is tiny, but then that’s the norm in Venice. Hotel was conveniently located just off Piazza San Marco, also close to the vaporetto and water taxi lines. Tons of restaurants and shops nearby. I would stay here again in future trips.

Glutenallergikere får en hel kurv med forskellige produkter. Super fint. Personalet er meget venlige, smilende og hjælpsomme. Der er nogle få bænke langs kanalen med alle gondolerne udenfor, hvor man kan få serveret fra baren. Et helt utroligt øjeblik!
