We stayed at Hotel Cristallo for 11 nights and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff are simply amazing—kind, helpful, and truly wonderful human beings. You can feel their warmth throughout the entire hotel. The beds were very comfortable, and every detail was taken care of. The hotel is in a calm and peaceful area, just an 8-minute walk from the center of Malcesine. There’s a bit of noise from cars and Vespas now and then, but it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

Ett trevligt hotell med vänlig och serviceinriktad personal. Stort plus för gratis parkering och att middag ingick. Vi hade fin utsikt över sjön och en stor terrass. Perfekt läge med närhet till Malcesines stadskärna med restauranger, caféer, butiker, kyrkan och kastellet samt inte minst linbanan. Bra läge att utgå ifrån med båt och bil för utflykter till andra platser runt sjön.

Overall, we had a good day on our holiday. We made a reservation through riviera travel. We traveled from London to Venice, and traveled to Florence to spend a week in this hotel on halfboard terms in October. The hotel is very close to lake garda, in a pleasant place about a half-mile outside of Malcesine. The public areas decor is very pink and clearly set in the 1960 s. However, everything is kept immaculately clean. After an exhausting threehour coach ride, we were welcomed with something hot to eat. After having eaten, we went to our room, which was at the back of the structure and facing the mountains. The room proved to be quiet throughout the day and at night thanks to a noiseless air conditioning system, which was always a crucial factor in any hotel we stay in. The furnishings were relatively antique, but the bed was very comfortable, which was always a problem. If there hadnt been a bidet, the restrooms size would have been acceptable, and the soap dispenser in the shower cabinet on the opposite wall would have made the shower much simpler to use. But the second dinner was never so excellent. For most of the guests staying on the same night, the dinner was served at the same table as the one we had planned. They had various cuisines, usually fish, two different meat dishes, and two vegetarian dishes.

I just stayed at this hotel in October. Nice hotel, very clean, nice staff but the food is to be desired, had to purchase some meals out as the food was horrible sent evening meal back on several occasions.

I have nothing to complain about, thank you to Maria and the staff, for a wonderful stay in your lovely hotel. Just got back from a wonderful stay at Hotel Crystal. After reading some of the negative reviews, I almost didn't reserve it but wanted to stay in Malcesine, and Crystal is the only resort that riviera travel uses. The negative comments I read are very unfair, I have to say. The motel is immaculately clean, and there is a lovely restaurant and bar. The staff is lovely, always satisfied, and helpful. We have food allergies, and we were superbly handled. Breakfast is a buffet with a great mediterranean flair, as is the first meal of the evening. The remaining three courses can be ordered the day before from a set menu. Everything we had was tasty and well cooked. There is a small pool with plenty of sun loungers, and an upstairs terrace with a jacuzzi and more sun loungers. Lake views are breathtaking. Our room was comparatively small, but we found plenty of space for everything and the beds were comfy. Our balcony allowed us to see the mountains and the lake from our room on the side of the hotel. We stayed here in October with a party of four. The rooms were enormous. The bed was comfortable and the hairdryer worked well. No tea, coffee, or milk on the kettle and cups, I brought my own coffee and got milk at the shop. Lake garda is just a short walk away, and after crossing the zebra, there is a small short bank you can walk along. I adored the hotel and the decor here in Italy, and the personnel was always willing to assist. Choice of cuisine order the evening before. I even tried the raw egg dish, some strange combinations but still worthwhile eating, a nice bar, and many different seating areas. Breakfast contained a good assortment of buffet-style meals and cereals, including hot and cold beverages. There is a great choice of foods ordered the night before. I enjoyed most of the offerings.

We could not have liked our time at Hotel cristal without seeing the positive things that can be said for a hotel. After reading the reviews here, we were pleasantly delighted by a wonderful stay at the hotel Crystal. The staff was very kind and attentive, the rooms, restaurant, and hotel in general were immaculately clean, and the cuisine was excellent, with 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan who we emailed to inform them in advance. It was a 5 minute stroll to the lakeside and 10 minutes to the town center.

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt och utsikten är magisk. Tyvärr fick vi påminna om byte av sängkläder. Klimatanläggningen kan i bästa fall kallas för fläkt, då den i princip inte kylde alls.

Nice, simple ackommodation within walking distance to Malcesine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, located in the basement was clean but sometimes quite humid. The breakfast offered a good variery of food but non was particularly well-made or tasty.

Nice friendly staff. Room was very hot. Informed reception that AC wasn’t working only to be told that it’s only switched on in July & August. I pointed out that it’s advertised as having AC on Expedia & she replied, we have no communication with Expedia, but all tour operators are aware. Had to sleep with the doors open onto communal area. Food, particularly breakfast was very poor quality & decided to eat out most days despite being half board. Would not go back. Avoid.
