We appreciated the short walk from the train station to the hotel. The rooms were clean and cool, a relief in the extremely hot weather. We found the staff at reception to be pleasant and very helpful. We missed breakfast because of an early flight and they kindly arranged a boxed breakfast for us to take away. We would stay here again.

The location was great. Close to train. We stayed here 12 years ago and they definitely need to update rooms a little. Our desk area was falling apart. The breakfast was amazing and staff too! Would stay there again.

Located across the central train station, which was what I needed. That means that the street is not the most elegant, yet safe, and a short walking distance to the main attractions of the city. The room was very quiet (facing the back of the street), excellent AC (there was a heat wave, so cannot imagine living without it), and of a good size. A very good breakfast is included. Wifi was perfect. Staff very helpful. Given its location, there are some non-expensive restaurants around, which was nice. Overall, I have had an excellent experience.

We were there during the hottest part of summer, and really appreciated the effective air-conditioning. The breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 was a lovely touch, and had a nice selection of meat, cheeses, cereals, yougurt and apples / oranges, and offered scrambled eggs, along with rice and hotdog with boiled cabbage and soup. There was ample space for storing your luggage if you had to check out before you actually left the area. The location very close to the street cars and the train station was an added bonus.

Be advised this hotel is directly across from the train station and as such train noise is prevalent until very late at night if you book a city view.

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Florence. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station and about a 10 minute walk to the Duomo so for us was perfect. While the hotel is a little dated it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was at the opposite side of the hotel to the tram lines but we could still hear the rumblings as trams passed. This didn’t affect us or our sleep. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always on hand. Would recommend staying at this hotel if you want to be away from the tourist chaos when you walk out of your hotel. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel.
