I suggest it to anyone. We have stayed here before, 7 years ago. Great location, close to almost everything, comfortable rooms, and a delicious breakfast. On this trip, we stayed a day before our cruise and planned to do so three days afterward. Hurricane dorian deviated from our three-day journey after the cruise, and the hotel's owner was incredibly empathetic to our situation. She reduced penalties and worked to arrange transportation to the airport. We were safely brought to Florida and are currently back working at a florida hospital that is in the path of dorian The personnel at this hotel are beyond our expectations.

We were sorry to go, and we will undoubtedly return to this hotel the next time we visit Rome. We visited the Fontanella Borgese hotel as much as we enjoyed it a year ago. I sent the hotel an email to see if we could possibly get the same beautiful room as we had before and were graciously greeted. This elegant boutique hotel has a lovely blend of old world and modern conveniences. The setting is excellent. The pantheon, the Piazza Madonna, and other top Rome attractions are within easy walking distance of the Spanish steps. The staff was helpful in marking up the available map so we could get to where we wanted to go. My husband and I wanted a kingsize bed in room number 107, which was very comfortable, with a view of the inner courtyard for less street noise, and an incredible inlaid stone floor that showed how old the building is. Many delicious eateries are close by and, of course, throughout Rome, and the staff was helpful in making reservations and providing recommendations.

This place has a great location. We stayed here for a week. We also got the friendly and helpful staff of Khalid, Connie, Laura, and many others. We also can find interesting places on our walk. The room we got was cozy, with a view of the courtyard. It has a nice breakfast at 751 am. We will definitely stay there again.

Getting tired of hotels that offer simple, unique amenities is not acceptable at this hotel. You may enter a private residence because the entrance is in a courtyard. The staff is excellent, and the location is excellent. Some people might complain that it is not an american motel, but they will go with it. It is educational! I enjoyed this hotel's good European breakfast, adequate room size, and good shower.

This was a wonderful hotel, near many of Rome's best attractions. The room was small for a family of four, but it was clean and adequate for our needs. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this hotel as a great base for a city break. Also a nice bar outside.
