The location is superb, the view was gorgeous from the room and even better from the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also nice and plenty of variety. Overall a remodel would do magic, but we were happy.

10 Personen, 5 normale DZ, Anfang September.  Wir waren alle zufrieden. Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer sauber, Bad geräumig. Ich fand die Matratze nicht sehr bequem, die anderen fanden sie jedoch ok. Gutes Frühstück, für jeden was dabei. Sehr toll ist die Dachterrasse mit Pool. Badetücher liegen zur freien Entnahme bereit. Getränke kann man an der Poolbar ordern, Preise völlig ok. Pool ist sehr seicht, aber man kann durchaus eine Runde schwimmen.  Lage des Hotels perfekt. Gerne wieder!

Ottima piscina ultimo piano, posizione centrale per passeggio serale, comodo parcheggio nell'albergo, colazione al buffet completa, camera ampia e sempre pulita, grande balcone. Ottima breve vacanza (4 giorni).

Es war ein sehr toller Aufenthalt. Wir waren 2 Wochen, wobei wir nach einer Woche Zimmer gewechselt haben. Wir hatten erst ein Doppelzimmer und danach eine Suit. Beides war sehr gut. Das Doppelzimmer von der Bequemlichkeit des Bettes besser. Und auch der Balkon war größer. Die Suit hatte dafür Meerblick. Das Bett war weicher und für mich daher weniger geeignet.

Unfortunately we only booked for one night because we needed to be closer to the airport the next day. Would definitely return. The city of Grado is so unique. A combination of the very old with the modern. Could not believe that just off the lobby you could look down through glass floor at Roman ruins. Exceptional pool area on the roof with great views of the city and the water. Very nice complementary breakfast and an above average restaurant for dinner.

Ho passato solo due notti dal venerdi alla domenica. La camera era confortevole, ben insonorizzata, pulita e con un terrazzo stupendo. Il personale durante la colazione era gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso è stata un'esperienza più che positiva. Unico neo da segnalare il pagamento del garage! Un hotel di tale portata dovrebbe offrirlo gratuitamente ai suoi clienti vista anche la mancanza di parcheggio all'esterno.

Its simply better than most fourstar hotels in Italy, although it only has three. Ive stayed in midsize ith floor tearoom suites as nearly all rooms are booked for several weeks at a time. Most of the suites have really large terraces, and many have sea views, which are difficult to find in this town. The lobby is small, but the breakfast is excellent and has friendly service. Even if you dont stay in the hotel, the rooftop restaurant is worth the meal, and along with the bar and pool up there, it has the best views in the industry. In the heart of the city, in a pedestrian zone, on the historic piazza with late antique ruins, and not 100 yards from the water, you cannot beat this location.

Hello, the hotel Fonzari is located in the middle of the grade and is in a peaceful area without any traffic. If you are a visitor, the hotel is accessible by vehicle. Grade is an isle, so the air is clean and not damp. Two nice girls, roberta and selina, will be happy to provide you with any information. You may eat in the hotel, paying 18 euros for a standard menu. The chef is skilled, the food is excellent, so good that I have sometimes wanted more amounts of food in the dishes referring to the standard menu. The panoramic restaurant is located on the 7 th level of the pool. The restaurant also has a menu a la carte that is open to everyone for a different price. The hotel is three hundred meters from Gi Beach where you enter with only a card. There is another beach, which is south without a card named Spiaggia Costa azzurra. Except for the third bed, the rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. When used as a bed, the third bed is a sofa. It looks like a bent, curved sledge where you can only sleep if you are a child. With the exception of a few wide apartments, the sofa is in every junior suite. There is a large gym and a covered garage. Have a wonderful vacation

We recommend this hotel. Fonzari is fantastic, in my opinion. The hotel can reserve beach chairs, but you should do this early. This place has lovely rooms, with most of them having large balconies where you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the street below. The rooftop pool is a nice place to relax and enjoy the stunning views. Breakfast has a lot to offer, but because it has moved to the main floor instead of the first floor, it can feel cramped and be noisy. There should be more English-speaking staff to assist Canadian visitors.

The room is quite small but very nice big balcony. The lobby and bar are nice. The pool area is not very extravagant or stylish, just very basic. In terms of overall decor and facilities, I would expect it to be 3 stars. However, this gets very marks on the location. It's the centre of the new and old town and the beach too. Everything is so immutable from here you are in the heart of grade in this hotel. 5 star location.

L'hotel è bello e posizionato in centro. Peccato solo per la cattiva esperienza personale riguardo la fornitura di acqua calda in camera: su 2 camere datomi, in tutte e 2 non avevo l'acqua calda (a parte l'ultima sera). Il mio consiglio è di rafforzare il sistema di fornitura di acqua calda sanitaria o, ancora meglio, ripensarlo in toto (sostituendo gli attuali boiler ad accumulo elettrici, condivisi ogni 2 camere).
