What a wonderful family-run hotel. Great service all around with clean, spacious rooms. They even deliver breakfast to your room so you can eat out on the balcony overlooking the sea.

We had a lovely stay at the Il Gabbiano .. the staff was super friendly and the apartment spacious. The location was excellent with great views and easy walk to City Center.

A pleasant and comfortable stay. Above the hustle and bustle of Positano. Friendly and helpful hosts and glad but that side would tho they provided parking. A 15-20 minute walk down to the beach and boat pier. The walk back up not for the faint hearted but that said would thoroughly recommend and priced appropriately

Wonderful view from bedroom, very clean, attentive staff. No restaurant but breakfast order delivered to room for eating on balcony. There are c480 steps down to beach but we found it easier to return by walking up most of the way by road

The perfect stay in Positano! The friendly staff took excellent care of us. Each room features a balcony that overlooks the most beautiful town I’ve ever seen. You’re going to walk… a lot, it’s the only way to get around in that town, but there is no better place to stay. Everything was perfect.

The views from this property are worth the price alone. The common area is lovely, where you can help yourself to the communal fridge full of beer, etc. (it's not free). We booked a large double with sea view, but the view was not nearly as good as a much smaller room directly above us. So they gave us that room. Yes, small, and nothing fancy - but, as i say, who cares when you have that stunning view? We spent very little time in our room anyway. Even if we were in there for drinks before dinner or whatever, we were outside on our large beautiful terrace, watching the boats and the sunset, etc. An added bonus i did not know about is they deliver breakfast right to your room every morning! So breakfast on that terrace every day. Doesn't get much better than that! Parking was pricey (like all of Positano) but it's right on site, and they valet. All in all, great value for money. And staff were all lovely.

Wonderful hotel in Positano! We really had a great experience! Amazing sea panoramic views from our room. Delicious breakfast served in our room’s balcony. I highly recommend this hotel. Great service and very kind staff.

Small old fashion Italian property! Great views! We were instructed by the hotel to give our luggage to a porter by the ferry which was a life saver! Those steps in Positano are something else!
