From our room,15, the view was spectacular. I could lie in bed and see the sun setting behind Porto Venere. It's an older property but generally well maintained. Staff are like a family and will do everything they can to make your stay a good experience, as long as you are respectful. Maxes, Mario, Francescas, Petro and all the team were warm, friendly and fun. We went in spring and the jasmine was in full fragrance, so lovely. There's some nice restaurants just 50m down the road and another 200m brings you to Tellaro centre, a small but nice village. It's a narrow windy road in and there's a lot of stairs at I'll Nido, so if you're averse to either, then this place is not for you. But if you don't mind stairs and like it off the way gems, then this place should be on your list. Loved our stay and would love to go back.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are very well equipped and clean. I stayed in the main building, I noticed they also had a building on the other (non beach) side of the road. Some of the rooms were sea facing, mine (no 2) was a single with side view of the sea from a spacious balcony/ terrace that was south facing. The small beach (down many flights of stairs) equipped with deck chairs was lovely. It’s worth noting the sun does not get to this beach till mid morning. If you wanted earlier sun there is another beach around the corner where sun beds cost €10 for the day. The beach bar served a very nice salad etc. The buffet breakfast was very good and had everything you could want and the view from the windows were beautiful. The village of Tellaro is 10 minutes walk away although there are four restaurants almost as soon as you leave the hotel in the village direction. In all there are about eight restaurants in the village as well as a very nice terrace bar. All the restaurants are good.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I thought the location was really great, as it was an easy 5 min walk into old town. I loved that the hotel has several private terraces and beachfront. A few things travelers should be aware of... Check-in: The parking is on the left and the hotel reception is down the hill 100m on the right. There really isn't anywhere to park your car, as you need the key code to open the gates to the parking area. I pulled in on the left, infront of the garages that say no parking and show a towing sign, turned on my flashers and headed down to reception. Checking in was quick and easy so I was back up at my car in no time, this time with the key code. The hotel property and the town is very vertical so not ideal for someone with mobility issues. There is a snack bar with food and drinks midway between the sun terraces and beach. I planned my Saturday afternoon to relax, get some some, read and grab a snack & drink at the bar. Unfortunately it was closed and there are signs everywhere that say eating and drinking on the sun terraces is not allowed. I wish I had known it was going to be closed so I could have planned my lunch better. What's really great about the hotel is that there are also apartments available up by the parking area. These would be ideal for a group of friends or a family.

tutto bene e bella struttura. Camere pulite e colazione eccellente per tutti i gusti. i servizi in spiaggia non erano ancora attivi ma i lettini e sdraio c'erano. Sicuramente c'è da fare manutenzione nella struttura vicino al mare. Personale gentile e disponibile

We had a quiet room with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was great as was the view from the breakfast room. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Erinomainen sijainti, upeat näköalat ja mukava ranta myös lapsille! Hotellin ja toisen rakennuksen välissä kulkeva tie saattaa häiritä herkkäunisia, vaikka liikenne onkin vähäistä. Tilava (perhe)huone ja kylpyhuone, hyvä suihku. Ilmanen pysäköinti. Hotelli on hieman kulunut, mutta siisti ja palvelu oli erinomaista. Monet kohteet ovat lähellä mutta todellinen helmi on viereinen kävelyetäisyydellä oleva Tellaron kylä, jossa päättyvän tien päässä on ruokapaikkoja ja idyllinen keskiaikainen kylä ilman turistiruuhkia. Tullaan uudelleen!

Vackert beläget och egen hotell strand. Lätt med parkering. Bra restauranger i byn . Närhet till Lerici och möjlighet att ta båt till Portovenere eller Cinque terre.

A true gem along the Italian coast - both the hotel and the small town of Tellaro. Both highly recommend. The hotel is situated right on a small beach and is very secluded. The room we had was very simple, but had everything we needed and was spotless and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You get a free workout with all the stairs. And it is an easy walk from the hotel to several nice restaurants and bars nearby.
