The hotel is conveniently situated in a non-turist district, both when you travel by sea from the airport and when you arrive via the canal. The room we got was a room on a small street. Big room but the bed was old and not up to par! The cushions are not at all pleasant, hard, or smooth at all. The bathroom is also quite large, but it smells awful. nice shower. Cleansing was easy. There is just matter in the fridge, which is not much we believe in breakfast. The day before you must select the menu, although we believe the buffet is adequate. But nothing special for the standard. No fruit, for example. Again, not at the standard tea time they propose like a tea time, but there is only tea and no cakes! Poor communication with the hotel, not the best for the standard, I had to send several emails to get an answer. They prefer this better than phone. We therefore only give it three stars and it deserves none more.

I was in love with this historical hotel, which is not too big and not overly touristic, in an excellent location walking distance to most of venice's attractions including being able to be dropped off by taxi boat from the airport to the hotel front door, which is highly water permitting. The rooms are great, the service is impeccable, all the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and works perfect with or without children because it is romantic enough for couples and lovely enough for children to feel at home, including the little garden that has no view of the extremely busy street in Venice. We only had one problem during our stay. They had work done at the hotel that we were not informed ahead of time traveling with a 2 year old this made nap time difficult as it was a bit noisy during the day and we did not have hot water for the same reason and we were not notified of it before time. Full winter, the entire family would have enjoyed a hot bath after long days out in the cold. No apologies were made in this regard, which was a little disappointing. We would still have stayed there, but it would have been helpful to know about the two discussed problems ahead of time.

This good venetian hotel is not too big, it has all the characteristics typical of what a tourist aspect from venetian itself. It has a nice and comfortable garden to have breakfast during the warmer periods and nice rooms.

The manager on duty welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. We stayed in 22, which is in the middle of the canal and has the only large balcony in the hotel that faces that way. The windows are huge and at night you must close the blinds outside the window or you risk being woken up by the sun streaming through at 5. 30 if you forget. There is a big double bed with a very firm mattress as you enter the room, a big to on the left and a dining area on the right. The room is decorated with material wall covering rather than paper, large venetian glass chandeliers, two downstairs and one upstairs, as well as antique furniture chairs, draws, and side tables. But if you are just having a short stay in venice, it seems a crime to remain there watching to. Breakfast is usually a buffet, but because of couid, you are now asked to preorder and food is brought to the table. The room was adequate warm and located directly off a main shopping street with regular tourist shops, restaurants, bars, and two grocery stores nearby. It is also a very short walk to where you can take the public boat services. We had a wonderful time here and we will definitely be back!.
