Hôtel surplombant la vallée, nous y sommes restées pour une nuit avant d’entamer l’ascension de l’Etna. Possibilité de se garer devant l’hôtel facilement, petit déjeuner assez moyen au vu de l’établissement, mais menu très varié pour le dîner, je recommande

Ik heb dit hotel bezocht omdat ik de Etna graag wou zien en op het eiland moest zijn voor een bruiloft. Het personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ze hebben ook een prima keuken. Het interieur van het hotel is vrij gedateerd.

The hotel is above the town of Zafferena, just above the sea on the slopes of Mount Eta. This is a nice town with a square under the church. The weekend we were there was the last weekend of the Primavera festival, which seems to run for a couple of months. There was a nice atmosphere in the town with lots of families out for the night. There was a group of walkers in the hotel the first night but there were very few guests after that. seems to be family run. Breakfast is on one of the terraces with a view of the sea. One day we visited Taormina and went up Mount Eta via a cable car. Another ideal location to visit both. All rooms in the front of the hotel have a large balcony with a view of the coast. WiFi was very good everywhere in the hotel, better than the much more expensive hotels we stayed in.

The hotel is located on the slopes of Mount Eta making it ideal for mountain exploration. The view from the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious but in need of renovation. Shower cubicle is very small. Breakfast was good and consisted of bread, ham and salami, cereal and sweets. Ideal for 1 night's stay.

If you want to go to Eta Crater Silvana in the morning, the hotel is in a suitable location. Although the motel itself is traditionally outdated, it doesn't pose a problem. Everything in the room was in order, and it was clean. The view was incredible! Both the breakfast and the personal were so friendly. It has a separate parking area, and it was pleasant to see our car parked in front of the hotel that we could even hear the eta explosion in the morning. This puts this hotel on top of the surrounding area. If you don't have a car, it may be the only drawback because it is far from the Zafferana center.

A roadside motel built into a mountain, with two lifts and multiple levels. The rooms are of average size, with a view down the hill to the sea. The food was good, the staff were friendly and efficient, the fact that there was a tour bus full of polish visitors did not mean we had to wait for service rare efficiency. An excellent starting point for an early vacation to see Mount Eta, which is important if you want to avoid the throngs of tourists at the cable car.

Tutto perfetto...la neve ha reso tutto più spettacolare! Personale molto accogliente e disponibile. L'hotel non è nuovissimo (basterebbero piccoli accorgimenti per migliorarne la qualità), ma la posizione e il panorama lo rendono unico! Una delle pecche è che non organizzano degli intrattenimenti per la sera, restando bloccati dalla neve, non abbiamo avuto granché da fare, ma abbiamo recuperato andando a giocare con la neve proprio sulla strada davanti l'hotel!

Das Hotel bewerte ich insgesamt (*** Sterne) als ausreichend. Der Zustand ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftigt, hier muss renoviert werden. Das betrifft insbesondere das Bad, die Sanitärfugen in der Dusche müssen erneuert werden. Das Ambiente ist eher altmodisch. Es ist aber eine gute Wahl als Ausgangsort für die Erkundung der Umgebung. Die zentrale Nähe zum Ätna möcht ich hervorheben.
