I recently stayed in the rest blanca with two buddies for a week while visiting the Kronplatz ski area in the Italian Sodomites. The motel has a traditional feel, but has been renovated in a modern manner. My single room was large, warm, clean, and well-maintained, with satellite TV channels if not in English, and a beautiful balcony. I was well throughout the week, and the staff did well with my unfamiliar vegetarian diet and went out of their way to make me happy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, to the point that we received hugs and kisses when we departed. The rates were very reasonable, and one of my friends had to travel back to the uk for three days during his visit to deal with an unexpected family issue, the proprietress reduced his fee even though he had not asked for it. The latin dialect is the dominant language in the area, though most people only speak german or italian, and there is little English spoken consistently. The hotel has a wellness center, which we didn't use but seemed very good. Although the ski bus stops outside, getting to the main tiara gondola is simple. If you want to buy a ticket at the hotel because this isn't included in the ski pass, you must buy a ticket from the hotel. Oh, and unlike most places in that area, there is
