I had pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and convenient for getting around. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly, helpful.,it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Great hotel. Right in the middle of Venice. Short walk from alilaguna ferry drop off. St Marks square, rialto bridge, doges palace to metion a few things in easy walling distance. Hotel is situated in a square with daily market stalls, bar/restaurant. A coffee shop woth snacks and seating. Great area. Room was great, comfy bed, clean sheets, spare pillows and quilts. Good air con which was needed in June. Staff were really friendly. Room cleaned daily inc towel change. Mini fridge in room and vending machine in lobby. Only niggle was pillows were quite hard. They may have had softer ones if id have asked But one of the spare quilts was perfect for me. There was also no way to turn off one of the bathroom lights (or if there was i couldnt figure it out). It didnt bother me as i sleep with an eye mask anyway. But i totally forgot to report it to reception. Checkin/out was quick and easy. I can't wait to return to Venice and will be coming back to this hotel. I honestly loved the hotel the staff and the location.

Great location for visiting many sights of Venice. Hotel was a little gem with clean room and comfortable beds. Staff were great .. very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. No bar or restaurant but that didn’t matter as lots nearby.

Great location right in the heart of Venice, with most attractions within walking distance. It is a little far from the train and bus station, but you can take the water bus to a nearby stop and walk from there. Just allow extra time, as waiting for the boat can slow things down. The hotel has a lot of charm, although it does feel a little old-fashioned. The wooden floors mean you can hear people walking around above you if you are not staying on the top floor. My room had a balcony with a lovely view, which was a nice bonus. A few things to note: there was no kettle in the room due to fire safety reasons, and no coffee or complimentary water provided. There was also only soap and no shower gel, which may not suit everyone. Breakfast was included and enough to fill you up before going out, but it was quite basic. Apart from boiled eggs, there was no other hot food. Overall, I would still recommend staying here for the excellent location and character of the property.

Koselig autentisk italiensk hotell. Hotellpersonalet var veldig hjelpsomme og utførte god service på alt fra booking av restauranter til gode anbefalinger! Gåavstand til alt fra hotellet. Koselig plass med restauranter utenfor hotellet. Anbefales!

Everybody was so friendly and helpful starting with the hotel director Andrea. I would stay there again when I go to Venice. Highly recommended. Close to everything. Breakfast spread was great and dining area was so quaint and not too overwhelmingly big like other hotels.

We stayed at Hotel Scandinavia 10 years ago. It is even more charming today! They have also installed a lift which makes it a little easier for a couple that is 10 years older and still haven’t learned how to pack light for Italy. The service was top notch, location is perfect and the room very adequate. Hope we can stay here again some day.
