WOW! So so so happy I booked this hotel. It’s very clean and beautiful, but what makes this unique is the service. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. This hotel is very centrally located and the rooms are nice. The bed was very comfortable which I found to be a rarity in Italy. The breakfast alone is worth the stay, I could not believe such an elaborate breakfast was included in the room price. The coffee was phenomenal and the food options were plentiful. I can’t wait to come back!

Great location on the beach along. With. Swim pool and thermal spa. Staff very helpful, courteous and informative. Especially Marco and Emilia who made our stay very pleasurable. We had 2nd floor room with great view of the pool and the sea.

Accettabile la struttura anche se le camere piano terra e laterali al mare sono buie ed a ridosso della piscina; dovreste chiarire con l'Hotel alla prenotazione se le camere sono dal primo piano in su e con vista mare centrale e non laterale in modo che le persone siano consapevoli di cio' che vanno a prenotare; centro benessere bello ed ottime e professionali le estetiste anche se la direzione non e' all'altezza (la direttrice invadente ed insistente) ed i prezzi troppo elevati.

Location is perfect, close to the port and at the beach. The hotel has spa, pools and also breakfasts were very good. However, my impression was not so perfect. Firstly, there was a remote control on a wall but no air condition in a room. And there was no net againts insect in the window. So we were either struggling with heat or gnats during nights. Secondly, I like fitness, but one machine located in some corridor is not a fitness centre, in my view. Thirdly, I did not like opening hours of the pool, spa etc, because it was something like 9am to 8pm. And fourthly, room service sometimes forgot to change towels, soap etc. So, to sum up, the hotel is expensive, but relatively good (I believe the missing air condition was a problem of our room), but maybe more suitable for pensioners than for active young people

Hotel furniture is a bit dated and the colour scheme throughout is very white. The room was ok, though the TV was old and not working properly. It was also very small and high up on the wall! The bathroom needs urgent updating as the shower screen was broken and the toilet had limescale stains. The breakfast was very good with excellent choice, however, the bacon and scrambled eggs were stone cold also long queue for tea & coffee Staff were ok but not overly friendly. We arrived at the check-in end of the reception desk. The receptionist ignored us and dealt with other guests who came after us on check-out. This went on until I had to demand to be served next. Also we were asked to complete a registration form giving out credit card details. I told her I wasn't happy about this. She said it was hotel policy and in case guests left without paying. I told her that she had our passports and in any case we'd already paid Expedia. We had been staying at other hotels in Ischia and Naples and have never been asked to give CC details. Worried about what happens to these forms and how they are stored. Had I thought about it at the time I would have refused to give my details.

Our room smelled and the air conditioner did not work properly. Actually, it was cooler in our room with the sliding glass door open than using the air conditioner. The air conditioner was in pieces and duct taped. The desk staff and house keeping staff were very courteous and kind. The owner and/or manager never made eye contact or talked to us. He gave the impression that he could care less

This review is based on our experience with hotel Solemar, let me start by saying the location is superb, both for the view of the sea and for the shops and restaurants. The hotel is understaffed however with staff being poorly trained in how to deal with the public ,with oje particularly over worked but polite ypung ladu manning the desk.the breakfast is of ppor quality
