Since August 2016, we spent a week there. On the upper floor, in the second building, we were. Despite being a little small, the rooms were very clean, and they were the ideal size for a pair. The room had a mini fridge that we filled with our belongings and an adequate air conditioner. While we were there, the safe failed to work, it looked like a previous user error, and then the hotel was unable to fix it, and the lights looked like they had a broken connection. Overall, we had a great time with the food. Several waiters were accomplished and charismatic, while one couple suffered from training. Dietary necessities were very comfortable in the kitchen. The hotel has a tiny health spa element, with an outdoor jacuzzi, thermal water, and a sauna that is available for use, which is free to use. We were able to make some use of this in-room experience because it was a lovely one. We were able to utilize the hotels various excursions and experiences, including discounts and trips to nearby hot springs. However, the trip, which the hotel personnel seemed to love the most, a ferry that wraps around the island and a little swimming, was canceled due to weather and staff absenteeism. The situation was handled poorly by the hotel, with a lot of time wasted due to shoddy communication.
