Staff were helpful, room was clean and comfy- highlight was our own terrace with hot tub- the view is jaw dropping, especially at night! Breakfast was good and they provide small bowls of snacks if you order from the bar- this was nice while lounging at the pool. Lots of free parking on the street. Getting down to Main Street Modica requires you use hundreds of steps. Just think of all the extra chocolate you can eat while you burn those calories. I’m sure a taxi could be called. The white tourist tram also goes by the hotel.

Hotel Itria is an amazing hotel with beautiful views of Modica below. It is totally worth the very many steps to get to it from Modica bassa. Whether taking the steps day or night the views are unbeatable. The hotel itself is well run, comfortable bedding, excellent bathroom, an ample array of breakfast choices. I would definitely stay there again. Modica is a wonderful place to visit and not to be missed.

Fantastic hotel with great views of Modica below. There is a pool and beautiful patios. Breafast was included and excellent. If you are in shape, you can walk down to the center in less than 10 minutes; the walk back up is a bit harder however bur we did it several times. Otherwise, you can use your car to drive into town in a few minutes.

This property has awesome view on the gorgeous ancient part of Modica from every room, dining area, and pool. Dining area, porch, and pool are fabulous! Getting there is not easy, especially if you don’t have a car. There is a public bus service but we have not used it. Walking to the city center will require taking steep stairs for about 200 feet. We greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the welcome and great level of service from all of Itria staff.

During our 10 days touring Sicily, this was by far the best hotel where we stayed. The view of the city is fabulous. The facilities are top notch. The staff are exceptionally helpful.

It is up on a hillside, with a spectacular view. A bit of a hike if you climb up and down stairs to and from the town. But it was just wonderful!

Vistas excepcionales de Modica. En desayuno quiza debieran de variarlo un poco, en especial en la parte de salado, pero vamos, estan pendientes de todo, por la tarde dejan a disposicion de los clientes la cafetera y hervidor por si quieres una infusion o un cafe. Se puede aparcar bien junto al hotel... Era como estar en casa
