This roman is, honestly, my choice for the stunning Cypress bath. Its massive and opens into a terrace with wavering nomini leaves in autumn glory! Heaven. Nanzenjis meijiera Villa is only a few minutes away. Our room was suru with a pottery key made with a crane tender disregard for the details. Match tea was provided to us. Our lunch included sukiyaki, perfectly flavored and delivered to their famous restaurant with a big meal of beef! The dishes were consciously selected to match the season and perfectly complement the sake choices. Its surrounded by a koi pond and an traditional garden and is ideal for enjoyment in the evening and early morning sunshine. The towels were the best weve ever had in Japan, built in style by their name. Try the ji tea popcorn! Sold in the lobby, not exactly a shop, but the room would be perfect for a long stay with a large storage area, kitchenette, and washer and dryer. Comfortable mattresses in the bedroom with extra space everywhere, and we also faced the road with no noise. Parking was a bit weird because this is an older portion of Kyoto, but they helped us park in a different area for free. Additionally, bikes can be borrowed for free.

During our trip to Japan, this beautiful roman was our most recent pick. Nanzenji Temple is a short distance away from it. The walk to the subway station takes only about 10 minutes. However, it's great to enjoy a bike and go biking around the city, and it's complimentary. We loved our garden view room. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and warm to visitors. We still enjoy the Japanese breakfast, which was delicious. We want to go back there one day.

The kyoto nanzenji garden roman yahiko is a great choice for your visit to Kyoto thanks to its stunning room, lovely staff, lovely gardens, and excellent location. We had a fantastic time at the restaurant thanks to their wonderful hospitality, comfortable futons and delectable comforters, and a lovely supper! Although my Japanese is very limited, the employees were all fluent in English and willing to give me any time I tried to speak Japanese. Additionally, the Nazhen temple across the street is beautiful.

We would definitely return. Staying in a roman in Japan is required. The Yakiko Broken is a lovely, quiet family run oasis. Yes, it might give some people the impression of being old fashioned but this is exactly what you want getting the charm and spirit of ancient times and feeling like a geisha or samurai. If you don't, you're better off staying in a chain hotel. We also had the traditional dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast, where I discovered new dishes! They really look after you and introduce you to Japanese traditions and culture. They will assist you if you're unsure how to wear a kimono or how to eat your food. Everything is immaculately clean and carefully planned. Last but not least, it was heartwarming when the owner sang a Japanese song about Switzerland I am swiss I wished I knew the name of this song to be able to look it up.

Since I stayed in hostels, I have a much better service and guest experience. Given the highly favorable reviews made by other reviewers, my hopes were high. But I was really let down. The room was outdated, with outdated and mismatched furnishings. My room had a private bathroom with a tub that had a piece of wood wedged on one corner to keep it from rocking despite it still rocking. The sliding doors did not move, but they wobbled. There were piles of used sheets in the hallway in the morning, and cleaning supplies left on the chair outside the room, creating a really messy vibe to the whole place. Although Kyoto is a quiet town, it is on a midsize road with a minimal amount of traffic going by, so traffic noise could be heard throughout the night. The staff was friendly, but nothing else about the location truly justifies the high price for the room.
