This hotel is situated on the shore of Thun lake with a waterfront pier for tourists. Bus 21 also operates every hour. The staff is very friendly, the receptionist named Suzanne was extremely helpful. The food is delicious. Our room is in the corner with a beautiful view. The bed in room 3 was also comfy. The plugs are different from those in other parts of Switzerland, but the receptionist lends us the chargers.

The hotel Neuhaus Golf Strands location is ideal. We stayed in the hotel for two nights. Our deluxe double room with a balcony and lake view was good. The room is not large or spacious, but enough for a small family of two adults and a baby. The room has a balcony basically it's just one large balcony accessible for 34 rooms. So it's not a private balcony. We saw this when we checked when we made the booking it didn't give you that image. The balcony faces the amazing view of mountains and lake thun. The hotel is on the shore of lake thun. And a pier to the ferry leaves for interlaced and thun. When you arrive, the hotel also provides a guest card with a free pass for the ferry ride and a bus ride interlaced. Within minutes, you can also reach interlaced by car, it's not far from the hotel. The hotel has one lakeside restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wifi was free in the rooms and in the restaurant. The hotel also has plenty of parking, so you can park your car inside the compound.

We would return. Probably not! When choosing the hotel based on its location, it's in a fantastic position if you want to see the Thunersee and plan to do things in this area. Excellent water sport and lake access are both ideal. The positives include 1. The area 2. The rooms were immaculate 3. The staff was kind and accommodating 4. The shower was outstanding and had good water pressure. Free parking 6. Free transportation into and around interlaced rooms for improvement 1. The beds were so soft that I couldn't sleep. There was an issue during my four-night stay 2. We booked a double bed and had two single beds placed together 3. The main hotel's rooms, which are away from the restaurant, were a little small. The closet was huge in size. Wifi was awfully slow. This has not been seen in Switzerland in years 5. Breakfast was a little bland, and the croissants were not fresh any of the days. Overall, I think the hotel was a little pricey for the standard. Truly, you pay for the location, and the rest was a little subpar.

A stunning view of the lake from the room with a good modern feel. A fully equipped and spotless room. The staff is very kind and professional.

We had never received one of the upgraded rooms that were shown on application. We did observe a few rooms with the doors open and nice new floors, so I believe that the hotel is in the process of upgrading rooms. We had old carpet that had definitely seen better days. But, to be sincere, my wife did read something on application about the possibility of not getting a room that matched the images. So a caveat empty. Beds were also outdated and uninspiring. However, pillowcases were fine. While the room did smell and appear tidy, one of the two bathrooms had a musty odor. The second bathroom had a fan on that did not stop running the two days we were there, so it smelled good. Pretty much everything in the room was dated, and the showers were replete with what appeared to be vinyl flooring. Never before seen that. A further issue is a slow drainflush. Breakfast personnel were efficient but unfriendly. The hotel serves a fantastic breakfast, and the room, despite being old, was quite spacious. The room also contained a water kettle, tea coffee, and condiments. A mini fridge was a plus. The front desk staff was very friendly. Interconnected activities are fairly good in the area. 510 minutes to the center, 30 minutes to grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen.
