Für einen Aufpreis gönnten wir uns eine Nacht im Paiazzo Arnaboldi. Welch ein Luxus in diesem prächtigen Palast aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Besser kann man in Pavia nicht wohnen.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, en plein centre face au Duomo, ambiance historique pleine de charme ! Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps ! Petit point extérieur à l’établissement à noter pour ceux qui ont le sommeil fragile : étant en face de la place il peut y avoir des bruits de fête qui viennent du dehors les fins de semaine. Le double vitrage était très bon pour moi mais mon fils a été réveillé par exemple, ça dépend donc de la sensibilité de chacun au bruit.

Ein schmales altes, aber gepflegtes Haus mit Flair, direkt neben dem Dom. Perfekt, um die Altstadt zu erkunden und sich auch mal in den sehr gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnraum zurück zu ziehen. Da haben wir gerne den umständlichen Zugang durch die Seitenstraße und die steile Treppe in Kauf genommen. Das Auto wurde vom Personal in der Nähe abgestellt und bei der Abreise wieder in die Fußgängerzone gebracht. Wir würden dort jederzeit wieder buchen.

An unique bed-and-breakfast in the heart of Pavia. The people in charge have knowledge of the best eating experiences in this area. Designer bedrooms overlooking the main Plaza. The owner took the car and parked it for us. We’re leaving the stress of parking. Listen to the recommendations as his knowledge is gold.

I would have given him 6 stars if that was a thing. Paolo was a fantastic host. The room was lovely and spotless. The view was charming of the square. I found it funny that the breakfast was actually at a place across the square, and not IN the hotel, but not a problem. The only complaint I had was not their fault-the bloody pigeons!! Don’t get the room on the 4th floor if you want to sleep late.LOL. I though someone was murdering a chicken. It was just the pigeons on the roof above my head! Plus the lack of elevator was hard, but par for the course in a country where they walk everywhere. Overall, i would absolutely recommend.

A pesar que habiamos leido que el registro seria complicado al no estar los dueños en el hotel. Desde el dia anterior Paolo se puo en contacto por whatsapp y en el momento que llegamos ya estaba ahi esperandonos (despues de las 22:00). Asi que un hotel y una experiencia innolvidable. El cuarto muy acogedor, perfectamente limpio, con una vista del Duomo espectacular desde la ventana de la habitacion. Nos ayudaron con las reseviaciones y las recomendaciones gastronomicas en la ciudad, asi que una muy grata experiencia.
