I spent 5 nights here with my partner at the end of September. What an incredible hotel and location. The owners of this place are very helpful and kind. The beauty and old fort are so beautiful. Plus, the rooms here are so stunning. But, what they did not do was anything besides be perfect. They gave us a full refund.

After a cancellation to our airing, we reserved la fortezza. It was run by a great family. Although there was limited English, the family's daughter was very helpful. We communicated fairly well as mom realized I understood Italian. The absence of a mini-refrigerator to hold lunch and water is the only drawback of the room. No air conditioning, but the rooms are in an old fort, so they are extremely well insulated. It was 90 f while we were there, and we were at ease.
