We stayed in this hotel in Castle di Tuna for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were given two rooms which was greatly appreciated, especially because the first room was almost completely black and very dark apparently this was an art concept. We opted for the larger room with a balcony overlooking the sea and put the two chairs from the room out to see the seascape. The room was basic and had interesting artwork scattered all over the wall in every direction with some interesting pieces on the floor too. Sadly the bathroom let the room down, the floor and ceiling were painted dark blue and gave off a very dirty and oppressive feeling. Breakfast on the first morning sunday was like a farmyard. There was a dog barking in the breakfast room we are not dog people and believe it is unacceptable that dogs are eating breakfast with us. We sat on a table and chairs, like breakfast. If it was an art installation we were unaware of it, I would not want to be judged. When we went to check out the staff were disinterested and preferred to speak to the italians who arrived after us at the checkout desk, which didnt leave us feeling valued as customers. We merely excused ourselves, irritated and bemused by poor service, a hostile, dirty room, and bizarre contemporary art. If you want a place to stay with good service, this is not it. If

We stayed in the Atelier Mare with a family of 5 at the beach resort and had a great experience, and the room was beautiful but huge and clean. It's a creative experience that should be used as a break from the normal summer. 100 recommend this hotel for a quick weekend in Sicily.

This place is unique. This place is a museum with a unique bedroom in front of the sea, designed by a Sicilian artist. The experience can be more enjoyable if I experience a regular hotel. Tuna is a nice family town by the coast.
