The room was spotless with marble floors and a nice shower. The owner was very attentive and well-coming. It is ideally located at close to the water.

This guest house is definitely one we would recommend. The owner, Francesco, made us feel very welcome and gave us a small gift upon arrival. We were shown the room which was spotless and told about the breakfast arrangements. There were drinks in the fridge which were included as well as water. A basket of biscuits and pastries, yoghurts, juice and tea and coffee made for a satisfactory breakfast. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and in doing so Francesco gave us a token to have a drink on him which was a nice touch. He gave us more the 2nd night too. I'm gluten intolerant and he went to a local bakery especially to get me some breakfast pastries which was lovely of him. We were given a map and he explained where to go locally. We cannot fault anything about our stay. Thank you Francesco and your assistant for making our pre cruise stay so memorable.

Had an incredibly nice stay at the Museum Guest House. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Francesco and his lovely wife, and a very charming employee named Maryam, who was extremely informative and explained everything worth knowing about our destination. The hotel has a perfect location right next to the port, and is an easy walk from the best restaurants in Civitavecchia. Delicious breakfast pastries were provided in our room, as well as a small fridge stacked with included drinks, which was a nice surprise. The room was very clean, recently renovated bathroom with a nice shower, excellent water pressure and temperature. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel. Francesco answered all of our questions quickly prior to the stay, and was always available. Thank you!

Perfectly situated at the historical port, steps from the Mediterranean, centered among fine shops, outstanding food, and centuries-old history. Francesco is the most gracious of hosts and offered a clean, modern, safe place to rest between city adventures. Most highly recommended.

Owners are wonderful people and great to work with, we've been there before and loved it. Only dig i have is the shower is too hot for my taste, i just couldn't get it any cooler. Besides that small glitch, everything was fine.

A great little place in Italy. Great price. Clean. Nice big towels. Everything you need the days before a cruise. Right in downtown Civitavecchia. Steps away from restaurants and little shops. Close to free town shuttle. 10 minute walk to where tours start. Lovely helpful gentleman that runs the place. Answers all your questions with great patience. Adequate breakfast. Prepackaged buns. Juices, yogurt, water and beer left in fridge for you. Kettle with teas and coffee. All you really need.

I arrived very late, 02:30 and per Francisco’s instructions I called him and he answered right away. Then messaged me with the directions and instructions and codes to enter the hotel and room. The next day he met me and arranged a stay with one of his friends. Both properties were absolutely beautiful and conveniently located. Would love to stay in either place on future visits.

Francesco was delightful and extremely helpful. The room was very clean and a good size. Bathroom was also very clean. There were nice breakfast items available. Francesco arranged perfect transport to cruise ship, helping us get an early arrival and prompt processing. The building where Museum Guest House is located is historic with unique architecture. Lots of restaurants available in easy walking distance. Quite a lovely experience and highly recommended. If we cruise out of Civitavecchia again, we will definitely use Museum Guest House for pre-cruise accommodations. Thank you, Francesco and team!

The host was very clear with instructions even though English is not his first language. The elevator is very small and two flight of stairs if walking. We felt safe as after dark the downstairs doors are locked and you need a code to enter. Location was great. I would highly recommend staying here if going on a cruise

A small family-run hotel with just a few rooms. The owner asked about my arrival time and greeted us at the entrance. Exceptionally clean room with free snack and drinks. Walking distance to McDonald and pharmacies. Close to cruise terminal but you cannot walk to the ship. Will have to take the free shuttle which the owner is happy to explain. The air con was not too reactive to adjustment so we open the window. Overall it’s a pleasant stay.
