If you are cruising from Civitavecchia, this hotel is ideally placed to stay before you board your ship. It is located centrally in the city with plenty of great restaurants nearby and is also close to the shuttle service from the city to the cruise terminal. The hotel is in an old building, but was very clean and comfortable. The staff made us very welcome and covered all aspects of our stay at check-in. Would certainly recommend this hotel to provide an easy time the day of your cruise departure.

This is a cosy guest house with very friendly and helpful staff located in the city centre of Civitavecchia. It is within walking distance to the seaside promenade, Fort Michelangelo, cathedral and a delicious pizza restaurant nearby that offers freshly baked pizzas like Napoli Margherita pizza with Anchovies, wild mushrooms pizza. It’s so close to the cruise terminal which is a good option for travelers to stay for a few days before boarding the cruise ship. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and truly appreciate the personal service provided by Filippo and his lady coworker. We would definitely stay there again if we plan to visit Civitavecchia in future.

Vi hadde problemer med å finne stedet da vi fikk opp opplyst feil husnr., men vi var hele tiden i kontakt med ansatt på hotellet og de kom ut på gaten og møtte oss. Selve hotellet er en vakker bygning med mye sjel. Personalet var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende. Vi fikk informasjon om gode restauranter og fikk bestilt transport til cruisehavnen. Beliggenheten er sentralt med kort avstand til det meste. De andre i familien syntes sengene var harde, men jeg synes de var komfortable. Frokosten var enkel, men god.

Claudia and Stephan went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The only issue I had was with the doors which was quickly addressed. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Unpleasant instant coffee. I heard there was a store- bought tart, but I didn’t see it. You must bring shampoo and soap; wasn’t any. You’re going to have to go up a couple flights of stairs to get to your room. Nice gentlemen will help you with your bags if he’s around. Location is good if you’re cruising. I tried months in advance (multiple ways; more than one email address) to contact the property and never got an answer. They offer transport from airport for a fee, but never could get through. Expedia even tried on my behalf to no avail. Got there via Uber which was cheaper anyway. We stood outside about an hour and a half staring at the wood and iron door, trying the phone numbers, asking neighbors who knew nothing and nearly left. A gentleman comes along at a little later than noon. Nice guy; couldn’t understand a thing he said. Seems a code to enter is available sometime within the previous 24 hours. I did not see any emails about that but was told that had I checked on an app called “WhatsApp,” I may have received a message. So, shortly before arrival check that. If you get in, you’re on your own getting up the stairs. By the time I got there, I had no confidence that the property owner’s representative would communicate with me since it hadn’t happened before. Mind you, I literally spent hours getting a hold of them, to no avail. The old building was cool, but everything outside the room neglected. We paid $10 euros each to get to the ship. Suspect wasn’t best option.

Disappointed that there was no elevator to move our luggage up to the entrance area. Short window for breakfast and very few amenities. There was no hand soap towels were sparse and poor quality.

Fairly certain that this property was not opened for the season. We had to wait for about 15mins at the front door for the hotel manager to let us in. The room was not well equipped - amenities were almost non-existent. No way we could have stayed a second night. I was very happy to leave the next morning. Do better please.
