I’ve stayed in several places and several areas in Rome and this one is very convenient and pleasant. Lovely updated spacious room I stayed in. Busy street in front but the rooms are sound proof enough from traffic. It is a 4 bedroom guest house not a hotel but there is super helpful staff at the front desk during the day for all the help you could need and more including plenty of advice on sites and food. They provided an early check in for me as it was available and watched my bags for me after checkout.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palazzo Baj Guesthouse in the heart of Trastevere! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. First of all, the cleanliness of the entire guesthouse is impeccable—spotless rooms and common areas that made me feel truly comfortable and at home. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, with high ceilings, elegant decor, and plenty of natural light, which is rare to find in such a central Roman location. A delightful bonus was the complimentary cake and coffee, available throughout the day—perfect for a quick recharge after exploring the city or as a gentle start to the morning. What really made the stay special was Laura, the host. She’s incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely cares about making your stay perfect. From restaurant recommendations to helping with directions or bookings, Laura goes above and beyond—her local tips were absolute gold! The location couldn’t be better. You’re less than a 5-minute walk from some of the highest-rated restaurants in Rome, right in the heart of Trastevere. Whether you’re in the mood for authentic Roman pasta, a cozy wine bar, or vibrant nightlife, everything is just around the corner. If you’re looking for a place with charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, Palazzo Baj is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come back!
