Our first time visiting Monopoli and we're so happy we booked Palazzo Kapece for our stay! Firstly, Ilenia is the best host you could ask for. I was dealing with her prior to our arrival as we were celebrating my partner's 40th birthday, so she helped me with acquiring balloons and rose petals for the room, which was amazing by the way! She met us with a friendly smile where we were getting dropped off by our transfer, which helped a lot as we definitely would've got lost if she wasn't around! The room itself was gorgeous. We stayed in the Camera Matrimoniale Gelso Rosa suite and we were surprised how quiet it was despite being on the ground floor, and centre of Monopoli. I could imagine that if there was a festival or something, it would've been different but we were lucky enough that the area was quiet! It was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Both my partner and I loved it. We were also very close to everything which was amazing! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Monopoli.

A localização do hotel é perfeita,e o quarto era novinho e muito limpo e espaçoso. A recepção fica num edifício ao lado,tem que subir uma escada,em cima desse edifício (que é um palácio antigo) tem quartos tb,mas o que fiquei era na rua,em frente a uma igreja. É no centro histórico,perto de absolutamente tudo. Helena,da recepção,é uma simpatia. Maravilhosa estadia.

Excellent accueil de la part de Ilenia, qui, en plus, nous a donné de très bons conseils pour visiter la ville et les alentours. Résidence de qualité avec chambres spacieuses, calmes et un rooftop. Bien placée pour découvrir Monopoli et ses alentours. Un grand merci à Ilenia pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

This is an excellent property to stay in right in the heart of Monopoli. The staff and especially Ilenia go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful holiday. You have many restaurants and bars all around you and within easy walking distance. Thank you Ilenia for a great experience in your hotel.

Directly in the heart of the old town, Ilenia runs the most pleasant and happy small hotel(?). If you’re looking for hotel based activities this isn’t for you. If you like older buildings with beautifully renovated rooms capturing their history, this is the place. As for the soul of this location is Ileana. She will make you her guest and provide you all you need to know about her beautiful town One note, if you have physical difficulties this may not be the best place. The historic center doesn’t allow vehicles, is quite hilly, and primarily cobblestone paths.

Loved this spot!! Ilenia was amazing and picked me up from the train station. Excellent English. She sent me w a map of the city and even let me know about St Giuseppe festival that next night and where to go! The location was convenient to everything, right by the water. Although I did get lost a couple of time (my own fault) finding the spot at the end of the day. Rooms were beautiful. Shower was excellent. I loved this place and stayed there about 4 or 5 nights then made a switch to a spot w a kitchen.

Please note that Expedia stated that there is a seasonal outdoor pool at Palazzo Kapace and a hot tub. This is incorrect and there is only a small hot tub. We had a problem with a vibrating noise in our room as we were under the boiler for the hot tub and did not sleep at all well the first night and would have moved out. In fairness to the owner, she sorted it out very efficiently so we stayed.

Nice room right off the pedestrian street, clean and comfortable bed and nice pillows. Host was amazing, making recommendations, reservations, providing and iron and ice. Breakfast add on was great and super value. Location is perfect.

Central and great location Only thing is our room was right on the street and exceptionally noisy From people talking, cars, bikes and trucks zooming past, to builders and sanitary workers all before 8 am. Sorry but soundproofing required Staff were super lovely We stayed one night Managed 4 hours of continuous sleep
