This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay. However, instead of spending time at the pool as planned, we drove a short distance to the charming town of Assisi. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway at San Biagio and look forward to returning one day soon!

Struttura molto bella, appena rinnovata nei suoi ambienti mantenendo lo spirito originale. Posizionata in una zona molto tranquilla. I gestori sono molto attenti a tutte le esigenze degli ospiti. Menzione speciale per il ristorante, lo chef Mario è eccezionale. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

During the final week of July, we visited, and it was wonderful! Although the rooms are a little bit spartan, it perfectly captures the real monastery vibe. There is a beautiful scented lavender and rosemary garden in the pool. Above all, the spa and wellness are the best Ive ever seen. Although there isnt much variety for breakfast and lunch, we were just in heaven and were able to relax outside and witness the most stunning sunset you could imagine. In my opinion, Federico was a very gifted and capable young man who shared a wealth of pertinent advice. We went to the castle posting to enjoy some refreshments. Fantastic! Well undoubtedly return to this little paradise in our next maria trip, where there is more spirituality than in any other endeavor! From Stefan van Look Belgium and ignatius van hoof, Thank you.

The pictures on the website are quite different from what I see. The parking lot was clear, and we could hear conversations from outside when the windows were on. However, it's summer when we were there, so the lack of air conditioning was a bit challenging. Expect to drive, there is nowhere to go.

I suggest the place a lot, not least because their service is nothing short of great. They really work to make their customers happy, and they succeed. It takes a while to reach that small, winding country road. The well-kept little monastery as well as the stunning surroundings are both pleasant once there. They are totally quiet. A marvelous and charming little gem of a city, which is the principal benefit of this converted monastery from 1331, is clear and straightforward to help you get away from outside interference and just recreate the atmosphere from the previous era so that body and soul could unwind and not be distracted by outside influences. There arent many rooms, but the various wellness facilities are fairly large. We didnt use them, so this is just to inform you that there are numerous possibilities to get all kinds of baths, creams, massages, etc. The accommodations are not big. The beds are fine, though perhaps a little on the firm side. Bathrooms are okay. One noticeable drawback is that there arent comfortable chairs in the rooms. There is a small area next to the front desk where there are some comfy chairs and it is where you must go if you don't want to lie on your bed. It is, by the way, also the only place WiFi works flawlessly. There is a fantastic restaurant serving topnotch food that is neither steak or champagne-style or level,

Because it was part of the same property group where our original reservation had been canceled, we accidentally landed here. If you like peace and quiet, this place is the place to stay, but it wasn't exactly what we had initially intended for our stay. It is surprise that there is no fridge or safe in the room. They were preparing for a large wedding this coming weekend, so it appears that we were the only guests there at this time. It, in my opinion, would be an excellent wedding location. It did feel a little strange having the entire dining area to ourselves for dinner, but mario, our chef, and waiter, were a fantastic character that added entertainment to the evening. We had a good time sampling their own beer and wine. It isn't perfect for everyone, I can't say it is good or bad.

I just love the location, simple but authentic food, spa, and the great rooms in the monastery. And don't forget the artisanal monastic beer. Ive been there a few times. I had the best experience of cooking there many years ago and it is still memorable today.

Service personell is very welcoming. Beautiful view. No aircondition was no problem for us. The bed is very hard and uncomfortable. Two single beds together does not make a double bed. Quite noisy in the night from the surroundings. The food in the restaurant is to expensive for the quality.
