Will come back. Signor Tonino was kind enough to reserve a roomy apartment for the house. Big double bed, seating and dining area, small cupboard kitchen with a fridge that worked unlike most hotels. Furniture may not be to everyones taste, but I didn't have any complaints. roomy bathroom too, 10 minutes walk from the historical center. Bus 32 from the station drops you near the home ask for nuestra.. I'm a huge fan of Leche because it's a good base to explore Gallipoli, Tanto etc..

We got the best service from Tonino and his wife. The room and the place are really tidy and roomy. The location is also close to the train station and stores. The neighborhood is safe and we even went out for dinner a few times at night without any problems. Definitely recommended. 1010.

This hotel is not far from the train station. That would mean that the area in most Italian cities would be a little seedy, but in Leche that is not the case. Before I got there, I forgot to check where the hotel was on a map. I suggest it as well, because even though the street is centrally located, part of its name is identical to another larger street not far from it, if you ask locals for directions, they will not know where the smaller street you are looking for is and will instead direct you to the wrong road. I recall correctly that the wifi works very well as the only Italian channels. Breakfast is not available, but you have a kitchenette in your room with a fridge, and the cost of the night is low enough to justify the absence of breakfast. Every morning, the room was cleaned promptly. Because warm water takes time, sometimes up to 3-4 minutes, keep that in mind before giving up on your shower. I arrived in October, and even though Leche itself still had a good number of foreign tourists, I didn't see any other tourists at this hotel during my two night visit. But it was always staffed. There are three things to know about the location of the hotel below ground level, which is perhaps a benefit during the warm summer when theres also air conditioning.
