This place is strongly suggested. The place was fantastic, and I stayed there for two nights. Boutique furnishings were used to make the rooms look vintage. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, and shower caps, the towels were nice and light, the bed was comfortable and not too firm, and it was situated in the middle! The people were so incredibly welcoming and I enjoyed exploring the region on foot. Two families are also working together to promote tourism in their local community at this hotel. The restaurant is also nearby. It is possible to have a light breakfast and coffee at check-in if you prefer. The eatery was fantastic. The piazza also has a gelateria that is well worth a visit. Without the hundreds of Hawaiian tourists who wear shorts and carry cameras, I enjoy undiscovered locations, and you can really get a feel for the cultures and past.

This quaint little gem is located in the center of the old village next to the church. Comfortable, accommodating, good service highlight this property. We were with a group of 15 on an epicurean tour and this place was our base of operations for a week. Not too expensive, well maintained and in the middle of the action. Good choice.

It is a quirky hotel that is nestled among a number of historic structures in the old part of the city. When we first discovered our room, we assumed it was the lobby of another hotel room because it was so big. The accommodation was rather extraordinary, with a great ceiling, mezzanine-style sleeping area with two bathrooms, and a tiny kitchenette. The blue tiles on the floor were exquisite, and ancient pots hidden on the floor by a glass sheet made a fascinating detail. From the window, there was a lovely view of the beach, and both the port for ferries to the termite islands and the beach were easily accessible. Be aware that the standard uk travel plugs will not fit the sockets, but the reception can provide an additional fitting that will resolve the issue. Breakfast is adequate but not all that varied.
