We stopped here to sleep on our journey south. The lady in the coffee bar speaks English so we checked in without a hitch. The rooms were significantly smaller than our previous night's stay. No table, one chair. It's difficult to have anyone else in your room, so we all sat on the bed. It was quite clean, but finding a light switch in the shower was rather odd. I didn't check out the shower. There was nothing in the bathroom so we had to go looking for someone. I found an elderly lady in the hallway who could not speak any English but we were able to communicate. She was beautiful and interaction with her during our stay made the place a memory. Otherwise it was just a room to sleep in. Breakfast was included but not particularly rich or interesting. The bean pizza of the title was at a family restaurant around 500 m away by the river. The three pizzas we ordered were simply the best. Don't get the pepperoni. The flavor of those beans on my husband's pizza was so sublime that I had to go to the back and ask how to make them. Who would have thought of putting beans on pizza? Revelation! Do not believe me? Try it for yourself. If we were in the area again, Id learn a little Italian and stop to visit my Grandma and have a bean pizza.
