What a charming, lovely hotel. Viewing Lake Como. The views are amazing. After a lengthy drive, we arrived and were made to feel very welcome. Roberto and his employees went above and beyond for us and were very welcoming. The rooms were extremely cozy and clean. We ate at the family run hotel, which was fantastic and definitely worth our visit. So, thank you, I had a fantastic time.

Firstly, the hotel is located in a wonderful location with fantastic views of the lake. It is simple and basic, but the owners are incredibly kind and relaxing! I actually felt so at ease that I went down for breakfast in my Pas! We were also the only guests, so the cuisine was pleasant, authentic, and entirely in line with the style of the establishment. We really enjoyed our stay and will return in the summer for a bed and a beer! There is a second, slightly easier route to get there. Once you arrive in brute, follow the road to the left of the funiculario and follow the signs from there. It is still steep, but the other road goss seems to favor.

In august 2017, on our way to Anghiari, we stayed here for two nights. Obviously, the direction roads are hairy in places, but a little care and patience sorted that out! Unlike at least one other hotel we stayed at on our trip that had been rated 3 stars, the hotel is simply decorated and furnished, clean, comfortable, and superior to that of at least one other. The rooms are soundproofed, but we had read other reviews and had anticipated this. The guest in the adjacent room, who had an amazing repertoire of snoring, slept well all night! Arriving earlier than expected, we discovered the daughters and wife in the hotel, who welcomed us warmly and provided us with refreshments on the property, which we were very grateful for after a hot and tiring journey. We ate our dinner on the terrace and watched the wonderful scene of Como and the lake shift from a daylight to nighttime scene, which was rather lovely. The next day, we made the mistake of walking to the vehicular railway to get down to Como, which was further than I expected and very hot indeed, so it would have been more sensible to take the automobile to the station, despite the narrow, winding roads notwithstanding. We sat on our second night, eating our dinner and admiring the view. Once more, the food and wine were excellent, and

This place is very recommended. It has a century-old building with wonderful furnishings and an amazing view. The hotel was a fantastic spot for a night's stay. Free wifi is offered. The restaurant's cuisine is outstanding. It's a family-run business, and the owner and his family are incredibly friendly and eager to meet your every need. Parking is free, but if you didn't have a car like me, getting to by taxi was a challenge. You can walk from here, but expect a lengthy walk. The view was the greatest thing I kept until the last, and that's what I saved. A stunning panorama awaits you, and eating dinner outside is an incredible experience. Not to mention the view from your window and balcony in your room. I'll return soon.
