I came here on my birthday and will definitely remember this day. The view is unbeatable for starters. The food is not cheap but you get what you pay for and in this case it is the highest quality food and wine, matched with great service. The lady serving us was called Christine and she was just adorable and absolutely lovely the whole meal, she really made it special.

The gritti palace is the best hotel in a magical city known for its great hotels. If you want luxury, this is the hotel. Full stop. The hotel is located on the grand canal. Inside the hotel, the entire hotel exudes luxury. Christofle silver flatware, platters, ice buckets, creamers, etc., Bernardaud china, murano chandeliers and even beautiful glassware, rubelli fabrics, frette linens (bathrobes and slippers), fresh flowers in the lobby and your room. You get the idea. You have to go to the Vatican to find more beautifully sculpted marble. The concierge desk should be at the uffizi. Marco and the concierge desk made planning our trip easy. Thank you for the warm welcome and taking care of us every single day during our stay! Please extend our thanks to the gentleman who complimented us for how we dressed for dinner on our last day. We had dinner two nights before and he remembered exactly what we were wearing. Great guy! I didnt catch his name. He was so kind! Marco at club de doge restaurant. This dining experience was perfect. Make reservations for 7 pm. Trust me. You will love it. Well, trust the concierge Marco. This is the time he recommended. He was right! You can experience the lights of venezuela dancing on the water while church bells ring in the distance. This is not to be missed. The other Marco, who works at the restaurant, is funny and patiently explaining the menu. He even offered to take pictures of us after dinner. St. Marks square is only a short walk away. The walk from the hotel to st. Marks square is even better! This hotel is beautiful. If the Orient Express were a hotel, this would be it! Thank you gritti palace for a memorable stay that i will always remember.

Ivan, the head concierge, is very helpful. The receptionists are among the best ive ever dealt with. Paolo lorenzoni runs a tight ship or tight gondola that makes one feel like one is staying somewhere special. Great location, impeccable service, amazing rooms.

This is one of the most memorable hotels we have ever stayed at. The welcome card, champagne, roses, and fresh cherries were a delight! Book the riva yacht for an unforgettable cruise around Venice and to the islands of murano and burano. Our view of Santa Maria and the Grand canal from our balcony was amazing.

We only had the chance to stay one night. As someone who has spent many nights in hotels, this place is amazing. The view of the grand canal is breathtaking, the service is top notch, but the bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in.

There is no better hotel in Venice for your stay. The reception handles everything well and with authority. The concierge service is amazing. The restaurant should be a destination in itself. The bar is comfortable and wonderful. The room was well laid out, with excellent amenities and a bathroom that i would like at home. Its not cheap. Being almost perfect in every way requires good people and planning.

If youre in the city of vincenzo, you cant leave without seeing this place. A historic structure where elegance and beauty merge in a lively atmosphere. Sip their special spritzer at the bar, inside or outside. The staff is absolutely stunning. And the view, well, i cant even explain it in words.
