Fantastisk utsikt från balkongen på vårat rum. Mycket bra och kunnig personal, allt från frukost till konkretatips och råd om vad man kan uppleva, hur man ska ta sig runt mellan sevärdheterna och personliga råd. Mycket familjärt och proffsigt på samma gång. Vi fick till och med skjuts till hotellägarens restaurang!

Villa Reverie is gorgeous. Aspect looking out across Lake Como is fabulous. Staff are excellent. Customer service exceptional. Would we go again - absolutely. Highly recommend. Having emailed prior to our stay we were collected from the train station by the villa’s shuttle. 2 minute drive (if that). 6minute walk. Welcome on arrival was great. Staff speak good English. Welcome glass of Prosecco (other drinks probably available - but they got us at “Prosecco”). Bags were deposited in our room while we sat and enjoyed the view from the very pretty terrace overlooking Lake Como. The villa has a lift, but stairs between floors are short. There is excellent air conditioning - a bonus as in mid 30’s everyday we were there. There was a mini bar in our room. Some free bottled water each day. We also took up fresh milk every night for coffee in the morning. Breakfast was very good - Self service generous buffet. Our recommendation would be a lakeside view with or without a balcony. We had a street side room, and the road does get a bit busy, but the room is quiet when windows are shut. Bathroom was very well appointed, We weren’t so keen on the floor to ceiling clear glass wall between it and our bed. But it was a small matter overall. Drinks are available all day downstairs. Coffees, teas, wines, beers and standard cocktails. The villa offers a free shuttle to their sister restaurant in the hills above Varenna too. Staff offer excellent recommendations.

Breakfast overlooking Lake Como was outstanding. The walk to/from town and train station was not wonderful. The staff, especially Matteo, were amazing. We rented a boat and toured the lake for a few hours. Also went to the Orrido waterfalls. Quiet and quaint little town without the crushing tourists in Verrano and Bellagio.

12/10 experience. The staff is beyond hospitable and kind. They provided incredible service. The room was so comfortable, came with in room air conditioning, and offered fantastic views and amenities. I can speak highly enough of this hotel. From the breakfast, to the room, cleanliness, and service. Everything was impeccable.

Great experience at this hotel. Breakfast was great. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Don't forget to try their restaurant La Veranda dei Pescatore for a wonderful hillside dinner with views. The hotel shuttles you back and forth. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem that gets everything right Villa Rêverie in Bellano is exactly what Lake Como travel should feel like unhurried, beautiful, and completely unpretentious. We stayed here as a base for exploring the lake and couldn’t have chosen better. The property itself is charming and well kept, and the location is genuinely unbeatable for anyone actually trying to see the lake rather than just Instagram it. The ferry stop and train station are steps away, which made day-tripping effortless we hopped on and off at our leisure without ever worrying about parking, crowds, or the chaos that tends to swallow up the more famous villages. Breakfast was included and a lovely start to each morning simple, fresh, and served without fuss. Bellano itself is the open secret of Lake Como. While Varenna and other heavily touristed towns were packed with day-trippers and cruise groups, we returned each evening to a village that felt genuinely local and calm. No jostling for a table, no shoulder-to-shoulder waterfront promenades just the lake, the mountains, and a glass of wine in peace. For the price point, Villa Rêverie offers outstanding value. You’re getting a comfortable, well-located stay with breakfast on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, without paying the premium that comes with being in a “name” town. If you want to actually enjoy Lake Como rather than survive it, stay here

Villa Reverie was the perfect spot for our Lake Como stay. It checked all of the boxes. The views were absolutely stunning, beds comfortable, breakfast convenient (omelet, meats/cheese/fruits/pastries), and property very clean. We really preferred the location to others on the lake as well. Bellano itself doesn't really have much to do outside of the Gorge (must do!), but the ferry and train stations are only a 10-15 minute walk. They are not nearly as crowded as other locations and we were able to still find "fast" ferry options everywhere we wanted to go. Just plan ahead. The hotel is also only a 10 minute drive to Varenna and we were able to park there for about 6 euros each night for dinner in a public parking garage. Varenna had amazing restaurants along the water and cobblestone streets. We were also able to park at the hotel, which was super helpful if you have a car. The owners were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Wonderful stay!

A picture perfect location and hotel , tastefully designed and decorated with amazing views. The whole place was extremely clean , staff were helpful and very welcoming . There is a small car park so better if you have a small a car but this is the case in most places in this area.

INCREDIBLE!!!! I cannot say enough good things about our 5 night stay here. Every detail was spot on. It’s a 10 min walk from the train station and an easy 15-20 min walk into town and the ferry terminal so incredibly convenient. Bellano was a darling town and we are so glad we stayed here instead of the more popular towns. Our room had a balcony on the side of the building and it provided total privacy and an outstanding lake view. The daily breakfast was 10/10 and plentiful. They welcomed us with a cold glass of prosecco on the terrace looking at the beautiful view while they did our check in paperwork. Every staff member was so outstanding and helpful with suggestions on where to eat and what to see. The bed was so comfy and nice pillows, linens and bath products. They have a little bar and having a drink on the terrace while waiting for our train was a perfect way to end our time in Bellano. We will be dreaming of this place for years!!!

Beautiful property, great location and wonderful staff. Would stay here again. It is a little walk to the main part of town where most of the restaurants are (about 3/4 miles) but we enjoyed the walk.

Only a few spots for parking, but nice and close to the train station. Amazing an helpful staff, who new good Englishand were ready to help all the time. Amazing breakfast as well. I would say spend the extra money and get the lake facing view.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The view of the lake was beautiful. While the walk to the train station had a small portion without a sidewalk, it was a short beautiful walk. And the staff also arranged for pick up and drop off at the train station when we had luggage.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Ingrid was exceptionally helpful and kind, helping to organize ferries, private boat rides, dinners, taxi, hikes and to the gorge called Orrido. We had 2 fantastic dinners at Veranda Pescatore and Ca’ Oro. Parking very limited but we got lucky. 15 min walk to ferry was easy. Bellano was a peaceful and quiet little town, a contrast to the other busy tourist towns like Varenna and Bellagio. The hotel was right on the lake with amazing views

The hotel was just what I had hoped for, for my lake como vacation. Just a few minutes from varenna and more quiet and quaint. We were picked up from the train station and offered shuttle service but everything is walkable or a quick train or ferry ride away. Breakfast is great and the staff here are very nice and helpful. It’s right on the lake so the views are beautiful. We only booked 2 nights but ended up staying 4.

Everything here was perfect. The room was very nice and modern, the staff was extremely sweet and helpful. Matteo and Ingrid were who we saw the most and they went above and beyond what we could ever expect. The complimentary breakfast every day was very, very good. It’s only a few minutes walk to the train which is a 5 minute train ride to Varenna. It was our favorite spot of the 5 places we stayed in Italy.

Have been training through Italy for the last 2 1/2 weeks, and Bellano and this hotel have been our favorite stop. Spend the extra Euros and get a lake view room. The mountains are spectacular, the management is wonderful, and they will pick you up at the train and get you to any stop in the area. Just a great experience. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay here. Such a cute villa with modern amenities but lots of historic charm. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Not too long of a walk from the train station or town center.
