The price is not too expensive. And then, the bed was comfy. After that, this place has a small bar. Subsequently, they have tidied up the hostel.

The hostel is fairly new and reasonably priced. Compared to other accommodations ive stayed at in osaka, the memory foam mattresses really make sleeping comfortable. A grocery is close by. Id strongly advise staying here if youre like me and dont mind taking a little stroll to dotonbori. Mike, who runs the bar downstairs, is incredibly laidback and laid back.

Very nice hostel, clean, comfortable beds and great staff. There is a small bar downstairs with draft beer, whiskey and espresso martini, their signature drink, customers are expats and japanese, very good mix.

The employees here are very kind and always try to make sure that all the guests stay at this bar, especially the regular customers. Plus, the memory foam mattress toppers are also very nice.

The hostel is truly exceptional! Daniel, the host, is exceptionally friendly, always making sure that guests are comfortable and safe while traveling alone. He goes above and beyond to ensure that visitors feel comfortable while staying here, especially as a female solo traveler. They provide everything you need, including shower gel, shampoo, towels, hair dryer, and incredibly comfy beds. The location is conveniently close to the metro station in just 3 minutes. There is likewise onsite brewing located downstairs, where you can enjoy premium quality beer at surprisingly affordable prices. Without if not, i will return here again.

This place is close to dotonbori, which is a 10minute walk away, and the metro station, where it takes 5 minutes to walk. There is also free wifi. The owner is very friendly and will not hesitate to sit and talk and make your stay enjoyable and active. They have ps 4 available and football games are available just ask mike if you can watch it. You are given bottled water in the shared rooms, plus there is one more outside of the rooms. In addition, there are sockets next to each bed, besides that, you also get utensils from other places. A room heater and sanitary showers are also provided.

Backstage osaka is one of the friendliest and coziest hostels ive ever stayed at in japan. When i arrived with little sleep, michael and david went out of their way to introduce me to the hostel and helped me when he chose to pay with heaps of coins! Kana did the same when we purchased some drinks using all coins. The bar is a cool, comfortable place to meet both tourists and local janese people. Everyone there goes above and beyond to make sure you have if you stay well, and whoever has any questions will help you out. I needed some advice on the shinkansen, but they got everything sorted out for me. Showers and bathrooms were also very well equipped, with everything you need for tying up for an enjoyable nights sleep. Its also quite convenient, only stray from teranji 9chome station, which is two stops from dotombori. Thank you, guys.

One of the best hostels ive ever been to. The beds are memory foam mattresses and the beds have curtains. I made a lot of friends and this hostel made my stay in osaka unforgettable. Staff are amazing and owner is great, very fun to talk to! He will go out of his way to help you and make you feel welcome. Its also within walking distance to donttenburri walking street where all the shops and food stalls are. Osak is an amazing city and here this hotel made it 10 times better for me.

Best bar in osaka, the owner is very friendly, easy going and always up for some friendly banter. Good mix of local and international guests to mingle with. You can feel the excitement right when you enter. And all of this comes from a non regular patron turned regular.

The owner and host, michael, are fantastic hosts and a great place to unwind after saturday sightseeing. Excellent food and wine, excellent company, old people, and families all made us feel at home! Even though we didnt eat, the food appeared tasty. For nondrinkers, coffee and tea are also available.

I heartily endorse this hostel! Fantastic hostel with a cozy bar where meeting new people is quite simple. You have privacy and the beds are really comfy. Its the nicest hostel ive ever been to in japan to meet people!.

If youre in the area, make sure to stop by! Micheal has created a truly unique bar where everyone is made to feel at home and has oodles of fun. Even if you are only there for booze and arent actually staying at the hostel, micheals wife and his friends offer you incredible hospitality. We are so happy we discovered this wonderful little bar and heartily endorse it! Michael offers countless drinks and can give you excellent recommendations for what to eat. He is open late and offers very reasonable prices.

I would not stay anywhere else and hope to return someday. Absolutely fantastic hostel, i extended my stay in osaka because of this lovely location. The staff is excellent, and the atmosphere in the cozy bar is a wonderful mix of tourists and locals.

I only stayed one night there, but everything was fantastic! The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and the room is comfortable enough to sleep well. I heartily recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cheap yet pleasant place to stay in osaka.

Backstage osaka hostel and bar. I was very impressed with the service from the staff, especially the manager, who was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and tv facilities.
