We loved this place! Very small and quaint, maybe about 8 rooms total? The place was very clean - almost immaculate. The staff was wonderful. It has everything you need in Kyoto, including being very close to Kyoto station! Would 100% stay again. Thanks!

Great Location just 2 bus stop away from Kyoto Station. basically u can go anywhere to nearby attraction using this Bus Route. I recomending Buy 1 day Pass and Extra passes for all remaining days. Great to be able to connect all location with Kyoto City Bus route. This BJ Family House is Clean and Secured. its in centre of Kyoto City. Great place if u want connect Kyoto with other region area. Owner/Staff is Friendly and able to speak English. Tips: If u dont want to ride Bus. u can just walk from Kyoto Station to here. just 10min easy walking (just 3 traffic light streets) On late night still have street light and you can walking. recomended place.

Id search somewhere else for something more spacious. The shared bathroom was good, just had to wait. To brush teeth, there is a sink in the hallway. It was online that there was a common room to watch, but we didn't see it. The women at the front desk were warm but spoke very little English. Could she possibly be Chinese? On the left side, she led us to our room on the top of a narrow staircase. I have never had such a tiny room. It's probably taller than it is wide. It wasn't too terrible because there are two rolling bags, two backpacks, and two adults, and they couldn't move around without stepping on something or someone. The closet is open and full of their supplies, but there is a separate space for our bags. The room wouldn't be too large if there was a separate place to store them. But I would look elsewhere for something larger.

I reserved a private sol room with a bathroom. Excellent for a solo traveler or two more. luggage size was recommended for 2 I 24 or 1 I 28. Was brought to another building be the family inn, newer and cleaner. Conveniently located around 810 minutes walk from Kyoto main station. Mins walk to shichijo stn, mins walk to McDonald's family mart Superb sushi shop, next door is a BBD restaurant that sells great meats for a reasonable price.

The tatami mat style of all rooms is not that good. Although small, the bathroom is clean and brand new. There are slippers provided at the entrance and shoes left at the entry door. But kyoto has the right price if you have large luggage, which makes your room feel cramped. A fridge is located below the common dining and kitchen area. The distance to kyomizudera temple is 35 minutes. The employees are friendly and supportive.

ここは簡易宿泊所です。部屋が狭い、壁が薄い、共用シャワーがユニットバスで脱衣場もないなど快適とはいえないですが、安く寝るための場所が欲しいだけだったので問題ない。駅からのアクセスも悪くないし、近くにコンビニもある。

Untuk tarif kamar kurang dari JPY 20.000: JPY 200
Untuk tarif kamar mulai JPY 20.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 50.000: JPY 500
Untuk tarif kamar JPY 50.000 atau lebih: JPY 1.000

【Pajak akomodasi mulai 01 Maret 2026 dan seterusnya】
Untuk tarif kamar kurang dari JPY 6.000: JPY 200
Untuk tarif kamar mulai JPY 6.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 20.000: JPY 400
Untuk tarif kamar mulai JPY 20.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 50.000: JPY 1.000
Untuk tarif kamar mulai JPY 50.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 100.000: JPY 4.000
Untuk tarif kamar JPY 100.000 atau lebih: JPY 10.000

Untuk keperluan pajak akomodasi, istilah “biaya akomodasi” mengacu pada tarif kamar saja, tidak termasuk biaya makan dan pajak konsumsi.

Sesuai peraturan pajak setempat, mulai 1 Oktober 2018, tamu harus membayar pajak akomodasi ke properti saat check-in (per orang per malam):
