Id definitely come back to this hotel. A short walk from Komagome Station three stops from Ikebukuro and a short ride from Uno is this capsule hotel. It is a quieter part of Tokyo, yet food is available and there are some shrines nearby. The staff was friendly and the location was extremely convenient. I only stayed one night, and there was everything I needed including showers, sauna room, makeup and hairdryer area, lockers, a place to sleep, pajamas, and towels. While they also provide earphones, I didn't use them in the capsule. The shower and sauna areas are shared, so only if you don't mind being naked around other women. They also have a no-tattoo policy.

I can't say enough good things about this place, but I decided to go for the experience, and I got the experience! This location wasn't intended for tourists, the personnel behind the desk spoke no English whatsoever. I stayed in six different places in Japan, and this was the only place where this was a major issue. I tried to learn basic Japanese with a lot of success, so it was hard to comprehend what was going on. The first drawback was that they had only tiny lockers in which to keep stuff, forcing me to leave my bag behind the reception, and they charged for this service. The shower sauna jacuzzi steam room area was pleasant, but public nudity is acceptable. The capsules themselves were better than anticipated. It appeared to be a morgue, but they were larger than anticipated, so I could sit up comfortably. The mattress was very thin and the capsule was hot there was a loud fan, but it didn't seem to make much difference. The position was excellent, only a few minutes from the subway. It was unquestionably an experience, cheap and as advertised, I'm not sure I'd recommend it to a friend, but it's fine for a night!.

This was probably one of the most welcoming locations I've ever been to. The team couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome. Clean and extremely effective. I got a real sense of normal life because the location is suburban Tokyo. Komagome Station is a 2-minute walk away, and the main line platform 2 transports you to Tokyo center and the mono rail to the airport. Wax facilities must be utilized. Watch other guests' no English on signs and menus if you are uncertain what the procedure is, but this just adds to its authenticity.

This capsule hotel is recommended if you are traveling alone or for the experience. We wanted to experience a capsule hotel in Japan. This one also accepts women, but many are just male. We traveled as a couple and knew we had to stay on different floors and capsules. The female sauna floor was clean and felt very Japanese, I was the only western woman.
