We highly suggest this establishment. During the takayama spring festival, my wife, fourteen-year-old daughter, and I stayed in a private family room here for two nights. I emailed ahead to let them know we were late arriving, and they sent us instructions for entering our room. The room has a really cool arrangement. It resembles a pod hotel, with tiny compartments for each bed and a small table for eating, tea, and other amenities. The room has a tea maker. The following day, I met the young owner. A wonderful nice guy with excellent English was also on hand. The public bathroom across the street was a terrific experience as well. Simple yet perfect for a visit to Takakayama. Bow. The station taxi driver had no idea where it was, so printing a map or something on your phone would be a good idea. Thank you, tats!.

Because of how much room there is to put your backpack beside your bed, don't let the bunked bed deter you. You can also store your luggage on the floor under the bunk bed. Overall, the space is tastefully decorated with wood, white, and contemporary. Much more contemporary than youd expect and tastefully designed. The room has windows that let natural sunlight into it in the morning. The bed and blanket are both cozy. The showers are spacious and the restrooms and showers are spotless.

I heartily endorse this place. Three of us stayed in a private room for two nights here and had a great time. The location is great, very close to the historic district and a short walk from the train station. Our room was in the traditional Japanese style and extremely comfortable. The showers and toilets were immaculate. Bikes are available for rent at a terrific price. It's all a fantastic place to stay. Excellent, cordial staff, helpful, and chatty.

Exceptionally lovely place to spend the night on tatami. The staff speaks excellent English and is friendly and eager to assist. Everything is beautifully maintained and stylish. The bathroom and shower are shared, but everything is immaculate. You can rent a bicycle to cycle around the area.

We spent two nights there and had a great time. Locating the hotel wasn't a headache. On the first level, our apartment is situated. To reach our room, a private, tastefully plied wooden staircase is located. We reserved a triple room with tatami. The apartment is large and tidy. The distance to the restroom is the only drawback. Toilets are spotless. There is a cozy sitting area with a large wooden dining table, which is typically used. The proprietors are polite and can communicate well in English. It is close to takayama's main tourist attractions. I'm pleased we chose this location.
