The area is nice! Near temple HIGASHIYAMA and first % arabica store and classic starbucks store. Not too far from takashimaya etc. Better walking to everywhere. Or can take bus. Expert and warm server. Environmentally friendly.

길가에 있지만 조용한 숙박을 할 수 있었습니다. 한국 손님이 많아서인지 김치도 제공되어서 부모님 모시고 여행하기에 좋았습니다. 다만 호텔 입구에서 방으로 갈 때 엘리베이터를 한 번 더 타야 하는 점은 조금 불편했습니다.

A lovely hotel, in the perfect location for a Kyoto visit! While near the subway and walkable to several temples, Gion, Nijiki market, Ponto-Cho and more, it’s slightly away from the noise and bustle. Newly renovated, with serene and beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds. The onsen bath is a must! We found this lovely hotel a calm oasis, from the thoughtful folks at the front desk to the super-comfortable yukatas and slippers waiting for us in our room. Can’t wait to come back!

hotel is very close to subway station with few bus routes in front of hotel. The hotel room is very clean and the conditions are excellent. Onsen is also good. The staff are very nice and helpful. Few restaurants are adjacent to the hotel.

We recently spent three nights at the double tree kyoto. Its a brandnew hotel with distinctly japaneseinspired decor. The staff there was extremely polite and welcoming. Additionally, we were upgraded to the twin premium view because of our diamond status. You can enjoy their cocktail hour from 5 p. M. To 6 pp.M., where they serve sparkling wine and cocktails. We chose the Japanese breakfast option every morning because it was also excellent. That was excellent as well. Although the gym was somewhat sparsily furnished, everything smells brand new. Also pleasant and private was the sit bath. Regarding the rooms, i found that it lacked storage space, but the room was chic and very zen. If more storage had been available, it would have been ideal. This hotel is worth staying in if youre in tokyoku. Situated next to taiwan station and is quite handy.

Doubletree kyoto is a mustvisit if you are staying in kubutu. Very luxurious 4star hotel. Advantages the beds are extremely comfortable. They were more comfortable than any bed i had on my twoweek trip to japan. On tv, there is free streaming of youtube but you must pay for it. The view is pretty good. Some rooms have views of the khimoku tower. Hotel lobby is fantastic. Great garden near the seating area and bar area! Cons the rooms are naive and rudimentary, but they are still spacious. Bathrooms are small compared to other hotels ive stayed in. Nothing else!.

I had a great experience overall at this hotel and would gladly book this again in the future. I visited during one of its first opening weeks. The service was excellent, i received assistance very quickly and was led to my room with my luggage. For visiting some of kyotos attractions, the location is excellent as it is easily accessible by underground train. Breakfast was also delicious! I personally enjoyed the continental breakfast, but there is also jizun food available.

The hotel is very beautiful and modern, and the rooms are in a japanese style with low beds and high wood use. All the staff at the hotel are very nice, professional and friendly. Breakfast has dozens of options. We didnt have dinner included but one night we decided to take the club sandwich and burger and they were both very good. I highly recommend this hotel!.

The hotel boasts a brandnew and spotless design, spacious and comfortable rooms, and ideally situated location. Nisanzaka and Kiyomizudera temple are both within walking distance of the hotel, which is only merely requiring 2.2 minutes to walk to the subway station. A special mention should be made for the delectable chocolate cookies that accompany checkin.

Mulai 01 Maret 2026, perubahan peraturan pajak daerah mewajibkan tamu untuk membayar pajak akomodasi dengan tarif yang telah diperbarui. Pajak ini ditentukan berdasarkan tarif kamar dan dikenakan per orang, per malam, sebagai berikut:

【Pajak akomodasi hingga 28 Februari 2026】
Untuk tarif kamar kurang dari JPY 20.000: JPY 200
Untuk tarif kamar dari JPY 20.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 50.000: JPY 500
Untuk tarif kamar JPY 50.000 atau lebih: JPY 1.000

【Pajak akomodasi mulai 01 Maret 2026 dan seterusnya】
Untuk tarif kamar kurang dari JPY 6.000: JPY 200
Untuk tarif kamar dari JPY 6.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 20.000: JPY 400
Untuk tarif kamar dari JPY 20.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 50.000: JPY 1.000
Untuk tarif kamar dari JPY 50.000 hingga kurang dari JPY 100.000: JPY 4.000
Untuk tarif kamar JPY 100.000 atau lebih: JPY 10.000

Untuk keperluan pajak akomodasi, istilah “biaya akomodasi” mengacu pada tarif kamar saja, tidak termasuk biaya makan dan pajak konsumsi.
