In March, we stayed here and had the most wonderful hospitality we have ever received! We've stayed in homestays and similar establishments, including casa particulars in Havana, but this was different. Because she stayed a quiet night, she drove us into town for a local festival, ordered us dinner and drinks, and generally treated us like friends. She taught us our language and helped us understand Japanese etiquette. Traditional tatami accommodations were more than pleasant, the atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic! There are no buses required if you come for this since it is at the beginning of the Snow Monkey Trail, which is only 100 meters from the entrance. Excellent value as well, much lower than we would have anticipated given the services and amenities. We cannot speak enough of the facility in general, and particularly the lovely owner. Would stay there again in no time!.

We will definitely be back! Our stay at Kotobuki was beyond words. Since the hotel had no other guests when we arrived, the owner, arisan, took additional care to help us get into town for dinner and show us around. My partner posed for me in the hotel, because the initial vistas are so stunning. As soon as aki discovered, every effort was made to make our stay particularly special. I can't fault her generosity, it went above and beyond and truly made our few days here magical. The hotel itself has an older, traditional feel and is very cozy. The onset facilities are excellent, relaxing in an outdoor onset surrounded by mountains. The location is also excellent, if you want to spend a lot of time in the monkey park, it's the ideal hotel. Thank you so much!.

I heartily suggest this place for families and couples. We stayed here for two nights to visit Snow Monkey Park and had a wonderful time. Our hostess, Aki, was exceptional and did everything she could to accommodate us. Because it was the day after the golden week, it was peaceful, so we were able to use the indoor and outdoor doors together. The rooms are traditional Japanese design, clean, and cozy. We were able to have breakfast here, and there were a variety of dinner options nearby. The hotel was ideal because it was right at the front door to the snow monkey park.

The owner was very kind to us and gave us everything we needed. The roman itself was empty and quite quiet with oh a hearty opening! It's finally the last place you can get before the snow monkey park.

We stayed at Kotobuki for two nights and it was very nice. The hotel has a semblance of an ol' house, and you can feel like you can encounter the bad guys in the lovely lounge. The hostess aki is great, nothing is too much trouble for her.
