Best of all the hotels we have stayed in Japan. The food was fantastic, the presentation was beautiful, the private dining room was amazing and the service was the greatest. Breakfast and dinner were included in the two days we were there. Each was memorable. The travel agent selected great hotels wherever we stayed in Japan, but I changed the hotel in Zakone to the Goa Hanaougi. It was by far the best hotel and probably one of the hotels weve stayed in around the world that we will always remember. The entire hotel staff provided great service.

I chose this roman based on other reviews' positive comments and I'm very glad I did. The food is good and the water quality is great. A quiet and relaxing escape from the busy Tokyo metro area

If you visit Zakone, this hotel will be your first stop. This culinary and interior masterpiece deserves ten stars! This roman is by far the finest in terms of comfort, originality, style, quality, and service I've ever encountered. The bathroom hot tub in our room pipes with real mountain mineral water, and the Omakase breakfast and dinner were utterly magical!

There is an elegantly designed public entrance that should be visited. When you get out for the day, the personnel will also pick you up in Goa or at the cable car. The room was big and cozy. The entrance had excellent views. Although modern architecture, traditional materials have been used to disguise it for authenticity. After several days in more orthodox roman ruins, the beds are Western mattresses, which came as a welcome relief. The supper was excellent. There was just the right amount of time between each dish and everyone is served in their own private dining room. See the photo, and the dinner was first-rate. This was the finest kiseki we'd ever had on our two-week journey, and we also had some tasty kiseki elsewhere!

The room was well equipped and clean. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The location is close to the top start hotel.
