The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price they gave was very affordable, especially for the food they served was good with the service here.

I booked this hotel using expedite, and the price was on my budget. Found in a cool area, but we didn't get to explore much of the nightlife there as we were out till late. The room is quite small, but that is the norm in Japan and what I expected. Did not have breakfast because I forgot to turn the time 1 hour faster on my phone so cannot comment on that. Other than that, everything seems good.

We stayed here for four nights. There are a number of eateries in the neighborhood. It is close to the monorail station. The beach and Kokusai dorm street are nearby. The area also has a lot of restaurants. Our room was quite nice. It even had a cozy recliner chair. Even the lobby was welcoming. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Someone was there usually able to speak English, but sometimes Google Translate was a great help. They had ipads that were positioned around the desk, and I could interact with an English-speaking person at the information center who could give directions, bus routes, and so on. Lovely touch. We utilized the inexpensive, self-service washer and dryer at the hotel. The breakfast area had plenty of seating and was attractive. The breakfast was extremely weird to us midwesterners who are accustomed to eat bacon eggs and biscuits gravy. We had a good time here and hated to leave.

The hotel is close to the nearest monorail station, miebashi, which is about a 10-minute walk away. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We chose simple food after a hard day of outing, and the front desk staff assisted us in preparing our bento dinners. For those who prefer a hearty brekkie, breakfast was good with a wide selection of Japanese dishes, and for those who just like some toast, there was bread, butter, and jam. Would stay again if we went to Niya for a second time.
