There is a metro station nearby that connects directly to Kyoto station. And then, the employees and owner were really courteous and accommodating. After that, the room was small, and no one got in each other's way, so no problems. The final thing, the value for money was excellent.

I will definitely stay here if I ever visit Kyoto. My friend and I stayed in a twin bunk room which was spacious and had a great AC. There is only one shower and one separate toilet, but we never had any trouble waiting. There is also a washing machine that you are free to use and plenty of clothes hangers. WiFi is great. The guesthouse is only a few seconds from the train station and makes for a nice relaxing space from the main city. The trains are simple and easy to use and we never had a problem exploring Kyoto. What truly makes this a special place to stay is the feeling of sisterhood and family with fellow guests and staff. Enthusiastic greetings, genuine interest in one anothers day and constant support for one another. We stayed over a week and we wish we could have stayed longer. Our goodbyes from our newly made friends were almost tearful.

I would stay here again. I'm pleased to have been able to use the guesthouse in the past. You can experience both isolation and family life while staying there. It is a very secure and comfortable space because there are only women in it. The girls working there were quite helpful and kind and made us feel very welcome and at home. My buddy and I stayed in a spacious twin bunk room with a powerful air conditioning. They have a washing machine and detergent you can use for free, and the wifi worked great. The station is only 30 seconds away, and there are several convincing stores close by.

I chose this used guesthouse because I was traveling alone to Japan. I chose the dorm with four bunk beds there. The owner is Lee, her girl assistant, who was very helpful and makes me feel welcome. The dorm room was simple but comfortable with a locker bring your own lock, plug extension. Each bed had its own small lamp and curtain for privacy. The location is easy to find if you arrived there during the day. Close to train station.

If you want to experience classical homestays, this is the place for you. I did not anticipate anything great as the cost was among the lowest among the love hotels, of course. It is definitely not a 5-star hotel, but it was cozy. The nice lady who runs that place is really friendly and a polyglot. I stayed in a tiny dorm with 3 other girls in a small room with wooden beds that made noise with each of our movements, the walls are extremely thin, there are no windows in the room, and there is only one bathroom for the entire house, but the lady cleans it. On the other hand, I met great people here. The guesthouse is right next to the railway station, which is a great location.
