Starting with the interesting animatronic dinosaur check-in, the experience was novel and easy to navigate. If you're coming in from a faraway place and are tired, take a moment, read slowly, and you'll be fine. The room was small but comfortable and conveniently appointed with a clothing freshener and press appliance. Delicious breakfast and nice staff, many of whom spoke English well. Easy to get to shops around like 7-11 and pharmacy, plus others we didn't go to as we stayed only for one night. The hotel had vending machines with delicious-looking hot foods that we didn't get a chance to use. The free baggage storage was also really thoughtful and convenient. Overall, would recommend for an easy, comfortable stay.

Unfortunately we left too early to try the breakfast but it looked delicious. The shuttle to Haneda was very much in demand at the time so we had to take a taxi.

I had a 11-hour layover on Haneda and was not trying to take the hour train ride into downtown (I made that mistake before), so I looked up decently priced hotels on the “KeiKyu” subway line, and this place was the first one that popped up! I had heard about a hotel in Tokyo that had animatronic dinosaurs as the receptionist, but I never would have thought I’d find them randomly! A quick 10-minute walk from Otorii station. Check-in was a little confusing, but I believe it’s because I was feeling the jet lag, but the staff (not the dinosaurs) came and got me squared away! Nice, spacious room and bathroom! Breakfast was delicious, definitely worth the add-on! Also, the facility had copies of popular manga on a shelf near the bathrooms! Of course, they were in Japanese, but still cool to look at! With some gacha machines and claw games! (Got my a nice Gyro Zeppeli! “NYO-HO!” Check-out was a breeze, and the airport shuttle was super convenient and fast! If I ever have a layover or staying in the area, I’ll always choose this place!

I stayed at one of the airport-area branches of Henn na Hotel in Japan. I know this hotel brand is quite well-known for its robot front desk, and this was my first time trying one near the airport. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Here are some detailed thoughts: 1. Location & Surroundings (a) Distance: It’s not as close to the airport as I expected. It took me about 10 minutes by taxi. (b) Environment: The surrounding area is very quiet, which I appreciated. (c) Convenience: The nearest convenience store is about a 10-minute walk away. However, it’s quite large and offers a great variety of food options. 2. Robot Self-Service I would say this experience is a bit of a mixed bag. While it’s interesting, it can sometimes take longer than expected. For example, scanning documents felt slower than if it were handled by a human staff member. 3. Dining Experience (a) Breakfast: Surprisingly excellent. I highly recommend it — the food tasted great and there was a wide variety of choices. (b) Late-night food: A very thoughtful touch is that the hotel offers frozen meals for guests arriving late at night. They are affordable and can be easily heated in the microwave, which is quite convenient. 4. Room Condition The room was clean and well-maintained, meeting standard expectations. Nothing particularly outstanding, but nothing to complain about either. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you’re curious about the robot service experience and don’t mind a s
