The traditional tatami bed and the traditional onsen experience in hiratakan are excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, and readily available. Make a hotel reservation for breakfast. Traditional breakfasts for two days are unique, delicious, or quite nutritious.

The rooms were very clean and amenities were provided, including small towels for use in the onsen. Housekeeping is done in morning. The onses are also private and well maintained. Location was great, right opposite the bus terminal and next to the general store where you can get snacks, water and supplies. Very close to restaurants. Overall highly recommended for a stay at the hirayu onosan.

The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. I was very satisfied with the taste and quantity of the food. In addition, i want to use it if there is an opportunity.

This place offers a good value for the price and quality. The location is ideal, offering simple yet clean rooms with open air and wooden hot springs. It is important to note that the owner assisted us in booking fewer tickets for shirakawago, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the staff members are friendly and provide excellent service, making it well worth the money.

We made our reservation late and didnt have many other options, despite the lack of reviews. The experience turned out to be unexpectedly positive. You enter the hotel gate and change into leather sandals after walking for three minutes from the station. Children also have special slippers. It has a great experience and is immaculate in the japanesestyle room. At night, it was very relaxing to sleep on the tatami. In the morning, my body felt revitalized. We had highquality hida beef for dinner. When we returned, we could take oath in an enormous bath. I squirted for ten minutes before sitting down because the water in that indoor bath was too hot. Before i seated down, the indoor bathtubs water was excessively hot, so ive been gnawing for quite some time. Since the outdoor water temperature was so pleasant, she rushed out of breath and gritted her teeth. Simply sit down. There is an outdoor footbath at the door, steaming hot springs, and natural waterfalls exist. Eat breakfast and take your morning plunge, its so cool!.

On the night of checkin, there were only two groups of visitors, so the hot springs were almost exclusive. Hirayu has amazing hot water. After soaking in it, my skin was smooth. When we went there, it happened to be snow, and you can go for a swim in the outdoor pool while watching the stars. It was so romantic! The dinner and breakfast are both excellent. They are all local specialties, such as beef curry, miso, or hida beef. The proprietor is very attentive, but the cuisine is also provided in english. One drawback is that the portions are not very large (the pictures are just ten of the dishes, although there are actually many, each dish is merely sized. This hotel is immaculate and spotless. Despite being dated, its wellkept. I particularly enjoy this traditional japanese hotel. As i lie on the tatami under the soft blanket, ill think of maruko and her sister sleeping at night. Sleep well.
